Just got burned in6 a rebate. Sent in rebate and then device broke 2 days later. No refunds or exchanges without UPC on box. Never again newegg.
Another Newegg customer service failure.

Couldn't you do a digital rebate? I just did a MSI digital one.

aug 31st next series comes out so I would wait
Typically this will be for high end cards.

The **60s typically don't get announced right away and current prices will hold for the most part.

I would go straight to the manufacturer. They should honor their warranty . Just explain the situation.

For those saying digital rebate...

4. Cut out and enclose the ORIGINAL UPC barcode label from the product box in its entirety, including the serial number barcode and QR code (not the UPC barcode from the shipping box).

Sure you can include a picture of the UPC... and roll the dice on whether the rebate will be approved or denied.

Many people forget or don't even realize there is warranty.
Usually a warrantied card will be repaired or a replacement refurbished card will be returned.
Advanced RMA rarely exists anymore so the graphic card downtime can be long.
There are also hoops to jump through before a RMA/warranty is approved.
They may prefer returning it for a different brand or exchanging it for a new product.

While that sucks,IMO never count on rebates as part of the pricing becuase something like this could happen.I never buy a product if pre rebate is more then I'm willing to or can afford to spend.

Though you didn't get totally burned you can still send it into for RMA from manufacturer.Though it's why I stopped shoping Newegg there support and they rely on rebates to much to lower cost.

Buy from a better place sure it might cost more but you get peace of mind.

I try to buy EVGA just wish they did AMD.

This is why you never factor in a rebate as part of the cost you may not get it.If I can't do digital I don't bother with them.I never count on a rebate to lower my cost,if pre rebate isn't low enough for me I don't buy it.If it's not digital I will wait the return window if I can't I skip it.

EVGA will not go AMD anytime soon.
XFX incorporated AMD into their lineup and Nvidia axed them as an official partner.
ASUS, Gigabyte, and Asus are big entities so they can partner with both AMD and Nvidia. But XFX was too small... chances are EVGA will get bullied by Nvidia if they try the same move.

This is a mid-range card. However, still selling for $300 is ridiculous. Part of that is pandemic-related issues though. $250 is where this card should be with $215 the great deal instead of the $280 a similar card was recently. AMD is putting pressure on nvidia but their 5700 cards had too many issues (and a number still have issues). We can hope the issues are fixed in the next gen and get some good competition between nvidia and AMD.
Until AMD embraces Ray Tracing and makes a version of DLSS and VRSS then my VR playing ass will have to still stay on Nvidia

They were purchased by a Chinese company a few years back [techpowerup.com]. They've been slowly getting more terrible ever since.
That sounds about the last time I ordered from them.

Thanks I will give it a try. They are only a shell of the company they used to be. Pun intended.
Try the BBB - Better Business Bureau.
If they're members or want to maintain good status on BBB they will listen to this intermediary.
