I believe lowest it has ever been.
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-To...B082YGLNGR > $189.90

Silver is $189.99
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-To...GBHHV?th=1

500GB versions are $109.99 but I believe the 1TB versions are better deals.

2TB versions are outrageous at $329.99 for Black and an astronomical $359.99 for Silver.

Free shipping and Free returns. Tax applies in most states.

Darn, I've been waiting for the 2TB drive to become a reasonable price - looks like I'll still be waiting. Just a note on the 2TB options: they are both the same $330 price independent of color (the original post incorrectly says the silver one is $360.

It's been lower. These heat up and disconnect often. Not worth it.

Very good deal, and very solid performance from Samsung. I threw my T5 into the Tesla for video storage after grabbing this.

Is there a good use this drive that exceeds the SanDisk one?

The read speed is faster but I'm not familiar with how people use these other than portable backups.

Yes - that's exactly what I meant. I wouldn't argue with someone staring me down like that ;-).

Anyone use this with an iPad pro?

I'm leery of the reviews. Seems MacBook users are having software and heating issues.
