Don't do it. I bought it during one of its last penny sales... the game is pure garbage.

I wonder how much revenue a company generates from penny games?

Nothing initially. They're trying to get their rank up and then after the sale, return the price to normal price. Thats where the money is made.

You also gotta figure, 50,000 people buy it @2 cents each, that's a thousand bucks in sales. How long do you think it'll take them to make that by regular sales? I don't think 100 people have ever bought this game.

Except you're not factoring in fees from Nintendo on sales. That could very well consume the entire amount depending on how they're structured.

I always figure when they do one of these sales, Nintendo probably waives the fees for that period. Kind of the point; Nintendo gets more traffic, developer can have a sale, customer gets a discount. Everybody's happy.

Except the customer, because the game is pure garbage? 😆

Customer got a game for 2 cents that goes in his backlog. Probably doesn't touch it for a long time. By the time he does, he's just browsing through his catalog. No good? Move on.
