Still really expensive at $699 but $100 off when it first came out is not bad deal for those who have been looking for a deal on this monitor.

Wait a bit longer and should come down closer to $500. Maybe for black friday.

$749 on the samsung website. 12 months no interest.

I actually doubt they will be dropping much further any time soon. They are sold out most places, and people will continue to buy them at full price.

I agree, Samsung usually never drop prices on monitors. The samsung c32hg70 has been around $530 to $499 and its a 2 year old monitor. If we wait two years this one will be $500-$600 but that's a long wait. Lol.

And a lot of people are returning these monitors because of the g-sync flicker. Samsung has received a lot of negative feedback about labeling this monitor "gsync compatible", and that has forced them to lower the price.

Maybe I am lucky, but once I updated the DisplayPort firmware on my 1080ti and the monitor firmware, I haven't had any issues.

I would be upset too if I paid that much and monitor flickered. For that price should be true gsync.
