Newegg has the 16GB Patriot Viper Steel 4400 kit [newegg.com] for $115 + Free Shipping.

Very popular overclockers' kit. I have this kit. Easily can do 3800 CL16 or better on Ryzen with FCLK at 1900Mhz (1:1 with memclock), and with tight sub timings. Usually $130+ when available, and usual sale price is $125, rarely less than that. Currently OOS at Amazon, $155 at B&H.

It's quality B-die. Finder link here [github.io]. Can achieve very low latency and high bandwidth.

I was told these could clock to 3600 cl 14, but it caused crashes. Was able to get it to 3600 cl 16 though.
Same for me. I got these sticks for $100 a month ago. This is not really a deal.

Great kit. Two sets of these would also be good for 32GB on a T-topology board such as Asus, but you would probably have to manually tune them.

Agreed. I have two of these kits installed on a T-topology board. (Gigabyte z390 Aorus Master)
Out of the box, they didn't POST at 4400CL19, but that's almost expected. They work great at a more sensible 4133 17-17-17-34 1.35V.

Some people achieve ridiculous timings with this kit. I haven't tightened the timings any further since this is my main machine and I'm more concerned with stability over performance.

For anyone else with a T-topology board, you really do need all slots populated if you want higher clock speeds. For me, installing two sticks tops out at 3733CL17.

This is CL19
CL numbers go up when the memory speed does. You could probably run these at 3600mhz at CL16

This or g.skill trident z cl14 3200 for $109?
Might as well ask - Schwinn Bike or Harley Davidson. Not sure if you're trolling.

No question the 4400mhz memory.

4400mhz, C19 = 8.63 latency
3200mhz, C14 = 8.75 latency

The question you should be asking is if your mobo can handle this beastly fast ram.

My god ram is so cheap now. I bought Patriot Viper RGB 16GB 3600 C16 for $210 last year. Frown

Newegg also has the Patriot Viper RGB 16GB 4133 C19 for only $135. Ugh!!

Tests after tests show at 1440p resolution

That 3200mhz CL14 is the best (and most expensive) RAM
3600mhz CL16 is even faster at 1440p and much less expensive than CL14

If you want Sick Bdie RAM at CL14 click below but have a fat wallet I'd much prefer 32GB of CL16 3600 RAM for $160 than $130 for 16GB of CL14 3200 MHz RAM but that's just me.

Wait, cl14 3200 is the best but cl16 3600 it's faster? Wouldn't that make cl16 3600 the best?
