Mine comes in Monday. I really hope it's not refurbished because the listing says new. I will let you know when it comes in
Mine came in today and looks brand new. Other than having to pick up a new SIM card, there was no issue activating it on Sprint either. I'll update this if I hit any issues but I haven't had any problems so far.

Anyone purchased this phone yet? I received mine today. The box looks like it had been previously opened and resealed. Is this normal? Also, the box says it's the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G. Its purchased as a gift, so I haven't been able to open and use it.
Received mine last night. Yep, the box was previously opened and resealed, but the phone looked untouched.

Ok this makes the phone a flagship quality now as using all lenses with the Google Cam app was a must to improve the OnePlus 7 Pro's original camera.

This works on my 7T but I find the white balance is way off compared to the standard OnePlus camera app. Tried many different settings too...

If the colors are off try turning on/off Google AWB!
Slot of the G-Cam mods have that 'feature'.

I would look for the devs on the telegram GCam group below to monitor that.

FYI, the OneOplus screen, especially the curve screen is the absolute corner cutting and completely compromised and very "settled"
It will break/crack/shatter on you, even when it sits in your pocket. Mine did it twice after a $200 repair fees from these cons themselves. Never oneplus ever again.

this is trash. i've had it 15 months and screen is fine.

Some opinions:
Popup selfie cam - not sure of longetivty or duability & feel like it adds a layer of complexity no needed.
Curved screen could cause ghost touches or break if dropped. If they had made the 7P like a bigger 6T, it would have been a nice flat screen upgrade.
Cam is average even with the 3 lenses but deal killer maybe that Google Pixel Cam port - GCam - doesn't work with the wide angle option on the 7P & makes the entire cam app crash.
Deal killer for those that want a Pixel cam experience.

All that said, the big screen is gorgeous.
The scrolling is effortless, smooth & fast.
The thumb touch security is solid.
Oxygen OS is near stock Android with some nice useful features added.
Big battery with long screen on time.

I think @$450 it is top 10 Flagship for 2020.
@$400 it would be overall a better phone than all mid-rangrse out there.
popup cam is rated for some crazy amount of uses, that someone like me who doesnt take selfies will never dream of. It also gives benefit on no camera hole, which even the most expensive flagships cant boast and is a definite advantage.

That said even One Plus has moved away from popups. I'm guessing according to what i read some small % had mechanical issues from what I read, so I'm betting manufacturers just didn't want to deal with it. If you're in the 99% whos popup works fine, you're good.

For the curved screen, EVERY flagship has a curved screen Including the current king the $1400 Note 20 Ultra. Now there are a few flat screen phones (I think maybe the 7T?) but they're not the flagships. Now there's also degree of curve, and I think the Pro is one of the more curved ones, from that era. I wish it were flat/flatter sure., but it's not a deal breaker IMO, and like I said, almost literally everything has curved screen so hard to criticize just this phone for it.

Camera, I like it. But then again I pretty much think all cell phone cameras are the same. TBH I dont think in a blind test anybody can tell the difference, or they will just randomly prefer one phone for one shot then another phone for the next shot if you do comparisons. Vs the Pixel 4a you also get more lenses so maybe it evens out a bit.

Another plus you forgot is that it charges crazy fast. You can just charge it for what feels like 15 minutes and you will get like 50% charge back.

Trash?! Free to pop your berries, I've gone back to to my old 8S because of it. I would not care if my issue was isolated, but my search proved otherwise. But hey, you're the guy that would know and get to the bottom of it, right?
Bye now

spoilers, your issue was isolated

people who get a lemon then trash the whole product line/company never strike me as using their brains too well. i mean i could go buy a 3k macbook, go home and the keyboard doesnt work or something. i'd know it was a lemon and that macbooks arent trash. although i'd still trash it because i dont like apple lol.

i have dropped my op7 pro few times onto hard surfaces (with a case) and it's survived with no cracks. but i think thats mostly luck of the draw, i've lost a few phones to screen cracks via drops over the years too. it just depends how they land probably, the fact it survived doesn't make me rate it any more reliable than some of my Samsungs that didn't. no two drops are directly comparable.

I have to disagreed. But this wasn't my first dip into OP, I had the 6 with an aftermarket case and that thing survived college. Now with the curve screen, different story and Reddit users were crying about it but I didn't hear them. Android was my thing and OP stood out as freer than Samsung with its builtin bloats but that said, this curve screen has been a disaster for me. I mean twice in less than two weeks while in the case that comes with it (McLaren). The first time it fell out of my shallow pocketed trousers onto the same floor that Iphones survived with ease without case nor screen protector. I paid for the repair and now the screen protector doesn't adhere to the screen well because of the concave spot in the center of the phone and the print reader is hit or miss. Note the crack of the 2nd time was with the case and screen protector. My screen now also would at times have a green line or edge tint, whenever it felt like it. And believe me, I've tried all remedies known short of throwing it into the wood chipper. Paid 899 for it, first repair was 300, for that, I could have had an 11 pro.
And with the direction that Oppo is going with their product, it can no longer justify the price and FB app built in bs. Believe me, I've been trying to make lemonade minus almost 1k.Mad
TGIF my friend!

Setup mine today to use on AT&T. Seem to have two issues - an app called "carrier hub" keeps running, which I think is draining the battery prematurely. Seems this is a Sprint app, but you can't uninstall it. Any ideas?

App notification says: "carrier hub processing requests mobile installer requests are processing".

Has anybody actually bought from there and used it with AT&T? How's the bloatware?
