For those on keto maltitol is not ideal
Correct. It's one of the few artificial sugars that affect your blood insulin levels. It's safe to assume 50% of maltitol will be consumed as real carbs.

If you're a normal person doing regular keto, 8gb of maltitol will behave like 4gb of carbs, but ultimately won't knock you out if your net carbs are below 50 carbs. But those of you out there who have difficult bodies and need to stay below 25 carbs, should stay away

other Atkins bars are eligible for the coupon as well. I just got the blueberry breakfast bars for about $5 a box - normally $8. The coupon is applied per box not per order. My order of 5 boxes was $25.60

So normally $7.98/box - on sale for $6.53/box - minus$1.41/box = $5.12/box.

Best to count it at 100% IMO, that way you don't accidentally stunt ketosis. I treat carbs like the National Guard. One weekend month and two weeks a year. The only difference is that I look forward to my service. Stick Out Tongue

Not sure why these companies don't switch from maltitol to erythritol. Less blood sugar impact and it doesnt give you the horrible bloating maltitol does

I really like these. In case you've never had them, they're like those Little Debbie gas station brownies. Really super sweet eat the enamel off your teeth sweet, chewy, and you can actually taste the chocolate. Don't eat more than 3 in a day or you'll be blowing the porcelain off the toilet. They're a real treat for us that can't have or are cutting out sugar. In for 5 boxes. TU to the poster.

Good to know. I'll be getting these for a relative who sometimes goes a bit crazy for sweets.

Don't need a re-enacting of the Chappelle's Show slow-mo toilet scene LMAO

This item also contains sucralose (Splenda) which also affects blood sugar like aspartame— both of which are extremely common in diet foods.
