Do not ever buy crap like this. The batteries die in a week or so and you would spend more in batteries than the device itself. Absolute junk

It's not normal AA 1.5v battery but 23A 12v which cost $1 each. Are you sure it will die in a week since the prouder technical detail said 36 months? I'm OK if it can last for at least 6 months.

Not a deal, but if battery life is a concern for a doorbell, then you may want to consider one of the kinetic options such as https://www.amazon.com/WGOAL-Self...075297Q9C/. The mechanical energy used to push the button powers the transmission of the radio signal. I've been using one for over 3 years now with no problems.

This no-battery one looks much more durable.

Wonder if the chime will work with other doorbells like a Eufy? At $9, might be worth trying for that purpose.

Bullsheet! I have them. going on a year. working fine still. haven't replaced batteries yet
