I want my timings like they were back in DDR days - in the single digits.

You would also get motherboards in a variety of colors: Blood Sacrifice Red, Crayola Green, "This Looks High-End" Blue, Doo Doo Brown, etc.

Jeebus I miss those. I loved that green color. Wasn't gigabyte the 'blue' boards usually, I always avoided them because I love blue, but not that blue.

Doo doo brown - I think all circuit boards should be that color still. If Noctua can get away with it...

I do think the first board I saw with that blue was a Gigabyte one but I'm honestly not sure if they were the first to do it. I remember Biostar was mostly red motherboards. I fondly remember buying some brand of sound card because it matched the red of the motherboard, haha.

Maybe Noctua can start making motherboards and we can get "regular" brown colored motherboards, lol.

This is pretty typical price~ Ram & ssd prices are supposed to be coming down the next week or soo heavily. You can get faster 32gb ddr4 3200 ram for this price ~

I bought the 3200MHz kit back in Dec which is still going strong today. Also, if you're in the market to buy one Corsair has real good RMA support too which is something to think a/b.

No, CL lower is better.
18/3600 = 0.005
16/3200 = 0.005
Same number 0.005, go for higher frequency, 3600.

Same number 0.005, go for higher frequency, 3600.
So given
14/2400 = .00583
16/2666 = .00600
does that mean the 2400 Mhz is the better bet or does that ratio stop scaling at some point as the frequency goes down, all other things being equal?
