Speaking as an owner of a BB-2000, I do not understand how Western Civilization progressed as far as it did without universal bidet ownership.
Purchased this a few months ago to reduce usage of the already scarcely available TP situation. Overall very happy with it having never owned or used one before. Simple to install. Wide range of configurations. Seat warmer will be awesome in the Winter. Built in dryer works very well. This is my preferred commode in the house. Has an occupancy sensor so your kids can't likely use it if they're too small to activate the sensor (or shoot water across the bathroom). It is a little mechanically noisy, and the IR sensors on the remote do not have the best directional range. Would certainly buy again at this price point if I needed another.
When you say you were going to buy a "legit bidet" does that mean the separate bidet toilets? I'd never buy those, when you get done going #2 you have to stand up then waddle over to the separate bidet toilet then straddle it to wash yourself off which means you have to take your pants off as well. That's way too much work, buy a bidet toilet seat so it's all in one.

Bio bidet BB-1000 and BB-2000 are pretty popupar. The 2000 is the newest model and the main difference is how they heat the water, 2000 has hybrid endless on demand hot water whereas the 1000 has the old tank style. The BB-1000 is known to have the strongest water pressure of all bidets due to the tank and strong pump though so if you really like to blast it or need enema function the BB-1000 is solid but the BB2000 is really good as well and uses newer tech. Read the Amazon reviews for the two models, they will fill you in on everything.

Also check out this link that someone posted already that has all the info on these two models: https://bidetking.com/blog/bio-bi...omparison/

In my house I have a Luxe electronic bidet I bought off Amazon years ago that has worked great and a couple of luxe neo 320s that are non electronic that have worked solid for the most part. I'm going to buy another electronic bidet eventually once the model and price is right.

might buy this for the parents, since they're old (remote has big buttons with text); then wait for 2000.

Moving into a new house today and this was exactly what I need for my new throne. Now, I just need to get an electrical plug installed in the water closet.

Just remodeled our master bath and I had to run power to the toilet just for this. Wifey had to have one after trying one at her gf's house. She said it took her a while to find the sweet spot.

Debating replacing the HD7000 I bought from home depot recently but haven't opened with this. Seems like some trade offs, this is stronger but other one has some newer features. I really like my current BB600. Anyone have any input?
