Costco has updated their offer for the AT&T variant of the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra where you can get the $1000 off and up to a $250 Costco shop card. This is basically the same offer AT&T is doing but with and added bonus of the Costco shop cards.

FYI, according to the rep. If you switch phones before the 30 months, you'll lose the remaining credit.
ALso gotta be careful with these because if you lose the phone, break it by accident, someone steals it, etc. same issue--you're still on the hook for these payments and may even lose the credit!

When I spoke to the rep they didnt say that. They said you needed to keep the line active, not have the phone on it. Think about it, why would they care what phone is on the line. The whole purpose is to keep you as a paying customer. Ive been told this multiple times. IT makes sense because phones are lost and broken. Its no sweat off their back what phone is on the line. Just so the moneys coming in.

The reason ATT takes the cake, it's because it doesn't require unlimited plan.

This deal is red hot if you already have an unlimited plan.

Has COSTCO outsourced its wireless/phone offer division to "Wireless Advocates". Who owns this company?
They're a third party provider that operates the wireless kiosks inside Costco stores. Your contract paperwork will be with WA, but the final device receipt will come from Costco. It's been this way the last few years I've done Costco phone deals.

the last time I did a phone deal at costco, they do not take the trade in you do that later on your own.

Talked to a rep at Costco and although the ad says $125 costco membership benefit card + $125 costco shop card, he says you only get one. Which confuses me because it said "AND" on the ad. Anyone else know what's up with that?

What is a "member benefit?" I assume the shop card is a gift card but not sure what they mean by member benefit?

if you stil require a trade in why dont you just do the ATT direct deal? I wanted to, but I have an iphone 6s, right outside the trade in threshold of iphone 7. Terrible.
