A full tang knife for $20 is a good deal.
Meh, your right, you can do worse. But it is fugly. Not bad as a cheap skinning knife that you won't mind too bad if you lose it in the field.

Can you carry knife in pocket in Texas without any problems from the cops? I want to buy but don't want to be fine.
In Texas, if the cops catch you carrying anything less than 3.5 inches they will remove it from you and give you a real knife to carry.

I've been carrying almost daily since my Cub Scout days in Texas. Yes, you can carry pocket knives with no problem. I think the law has loosened within the past couple of years, but I believe the law was nothing larger than a 4" blade, which I used the open palm of my hand as a reference.
On another note, as long as you aren't waiving an open knife around and trying to threaten someone, you are okay.
Texas? You can open carry an ar15 (and buy one) in Texas at 18, carry it loaded within reach inside a car.! I'm sure a small knife is not gona spook anyone, unless your a minor and flash it around in public. Your good

I follow Kershaw prices on Amazon all the time and those aren't very good prices and it's kind of ironic since they own woot now.
Agreed. Prices seem 'just ok'.

I think it's a common misconception that because gun laws might be one way in a state that knife laws are too and that's not necessarily true. Guns laws are made/manipulated based on the Constitution, knives have no Constitutional protection.

Flash II is a great knife. Just dont ever push the bade from back down to its close position.
Nice speedy opening knife.
What do you mean, not to force it? It of course has the pull that releases the lock..

Not deal prices, at least on the Kershaw knives...
The Blur is the S30V version, so that may be the only Kershaw deal at $60.

Quite a few misconceptions in this thread...

1. The kershaw deals actually features the Ken Onion Blur, on a different planet from some of the others featured. I've carried a non-S30V as an EDC for years and is one of my all-time-favorite pocket knives, and paid around the same as this for lesser steel before this version came out. In S30V, the cheapest this has ever been on 3 camels is around $53, and it's a very good price at $59.99. There's a lot that goes into a knife aside from the type of metal, but S30V is a nice steel that will retain an edge very well and I've got some spyderco's and other brands that are easily 2x this for S30V. The Blur features speed assist (opens fast and easy) which is a really nice Kershaw feature, is a nice thin carry in your pocket but good weight and size blade for all purposes, and the grip on the handle is very nice for being mixed materials. I would not hesitate to pick this up!
2. Firearm laws are very different from knife laws, for a lot of good reasons, so please check with your local laws on size of blade especially as length can change from state to state and city to city. Just because you can open carry a rifle does not mean a 3.5" blade is legal concealed (in a pocket), and not because "the right wing only cares about firearms, ThE CoNStiTutiON" get outta here with your nonsense rhetoric. Always education yourself on local laws. With knives plenty of people will use one in a fight, bar, etc. and it's silent, they're easy to get, easy to hide, hard to trace, etc.. Often with being stabbed, nobody around will realize, sometimes not even the victim til they put it all together. You're more likely to be killed with a knife or a hammer than any rifle [checkyourfact.com].

Yeah...dont put any pressure on the back of the blade. It will collapse on your fingers.
