Just saw the woot has this 2nd Gen stick up camera for sale. 49.99 is lowest Price seen on this product. This Gen2 version has POE port, which should give you more stable connection

Received two wired ones. Boxes were sealed and looked like new. Both cameras have minor scuff marks but worked just fine. Very happy with this deal.

Just a word of caution. We had heavy rain here 2 days ago and I haven't been able to use one of my stickup cams since. It accumulated a bunch of water inside in front of the lense somehow. Still "working" but it's impossible to make anything out on the captured video. It was never submerged or anything so I don't understand how this happened. Wondering if this might be the reason it was returned. Never had this problem with my other Ring products. Lmk if any of you have experienced this before. Battery version btw.

how to test? pour water on top of ring to see if it still works?
update: Pour as well as sprinkled water ... so far camera is a keeper.

Yeah maybe try to spray water from a hose or sprinkler so you can simulate rainfall for an extended period. These cameras should hold up to thunderstorms and heavy rain just fine. They aren't rated to survive being submerged though. Guess I'm glad it rained while I can still return it.

Ended up having to return two of them due to this water problem. I'm guessing that's why they were returned in the first place. Once that water found it's way into the lens area I could never get it to dry up. Peace
