I have owned this one and the Oxo on here earlier this week for $55. If you can wait for another deal on the Oxo I would recommend that one over this one. The Bodum is noticeably louder and the outer plastic got all sticky after 2 years. Also i worried i would break the glass catcher (although was glad it was not plastic!). The Oxo looks more professional (to me at least) with stainless steel, has stainless steel catcher, is quieter (higher pitch but overall not as loud), but is bigger/taller.

Both did a good job with consistent grinds and lots of grind sizes (more adjustable on oxo but not sure who really needs that many increments). I did like this grinder overall and would give it 3 stars, but would give the Oxo 5 stars. Glad these grinders can all be had around $60.
protip: flick a few drops of water onto the beans before you grind them
Run a spoon or chopstick under water and then give the beans a stir in the cup. Then transfer beans into the grinder. Gets rid of static!

I own this coffee grinder, it was a gift, so no idea if it's a good price. Just wanted to say it's excellent, has different grind size settings. Only issue i have is the static, that makes some of the grinds stick to the cup when pouring out, and if anyone has an idea how to mitigate that let me know.

Nevermind, the Amazon's cheaper model is plastic.

Yea use a small spray bottle with a fine mist and do a couple of pumps on your beans before you grind.

I like mine, use it 1-2 times per day, every day for the past year. Great, consistent grind. Would recommend.

I used to have the Bodum one in red, boutht 10 years ago, it got sticky after 2 years and that's the reason finally I got rid of that a year ago.

I just go the black a few weeks back form the same deal, it's no more rubberized so I don't think there will be sticky issue any more. I like its smaller size as I'm the only drinker.
The static on the catcher isn't an issue to me. Some ground stick to the side, not a lot and it's not the same static issue found in some other auto grinders (e.g. the cheaper plastic Bodum) that the ground might burst out of the catcher

I think some people have said to add a few drops of water to the beans, but I would look it up.

A grinder is one of those things I am tempted to buy but I know I will never use, but nonetheless the temptation is still there. ugh
