Just throwing this out there, but if you're looking to bump up the RAM in your (relatively recent) 27" iMac with 8GB, a pair (or two) of these will work to take it to 32/40GB or 64GB.

Should be.

But...

21" iMacs are not easy to upgrade. At all. Make sure you know what you're getting into.

Is this a recommended upgrade to the popular Motile i3 laptops?

I think they hold only one memory slot and hence if I get this, I'll need to replace the existing 4gb stick with this.

Would this be a disproportionate RAM upgrade for the i3 variant of Motile?

My HP 750-411 gives me the following spec on RAM. Would this work well or a recommendation for 2 8 gig modules that would be cost-effective? 64 bit system.
Thanks

Memory upgrade information

Dual channel (one DIMM per channel) memory architecture
Two DDR4 UDIMM (288-pin) sockets
Supports up to PC4-17000 (DDR4-2133)
Supports 4 GB and 8 GB UDIMMs
Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit systems
NOTE: 32-bit systems cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory.
Supports up to 16 GB (unbuffered) on 64-bit computers

It is a good upgrade for you, and a good price. Keep in mind, ram prices aren't going up anytime soon.

If your laptop can use these sticks, it's an excellent upgrade given the price.

Looking for help as I'm a complete RAM noob. If the Crucial website says my laptop will accept the following Ram stick:

Crucial 16GB Single DDR4 2666 MT/s (PC4-21300) DR X8 SODIMM 260-Pin Memory - CT16G4SFD8266

Will the one in this deal work as well?

Thanks!

Have a ryzen 7 with ram at 3200mhz. I do music production, no games. Would the decrease in speed to 2666 be noticeable?

Any likely problems with these in an Acer E5-575G-53VG (Kaby Lake, i5-7200U)? Currently has 2x Kingston DDR4-2400 / PC4-19200. CAS 15-15-15-36.

Thanks!

I have an xps 15 9550 with 2x4gb. If I install just this 1 stick, will there be a significant disadvantage in using this single channel memory versus 2x8gb dual channel?
