Cordless/rechargeable is much better. Cord kills it for me.

The batteries on the cordless models will not hold a good charge in 2 to 4 years. Nothing like running out of power half way through a haircut. If you are lucky enough to get it working with a low battery it will pull the hair instead of cutting it.

Agree, corded also has more power. Bought this same one for $10 two years ago so don't understand why the price is so high.

Its harder to find deals on chippers since covid hit. So many areas had hair cutting establishments closed. People are cutting their own hair at home. Used to always find clearance chippers everywhere. Now it seams like only on or 2 models in stuck if you're
lucky. The stock levels have just recently improved in my area.

Wahl are one of the best in hair trimming clippers in the industry... I own one from last almost 20 years now (yes 20, you read it right). Though the plastic trimming guides broke in these years, but the trimmer is still working as good as the day I purchased it. Have to only oil those blades once a month.... else have done no other maintenance for the unit.

Walmart has several of these available, currently they have the WAHL Model 9307 for $15.94 and the Wahl ChromePro Haircutting Kit, Black/Chrome - #79730T for $21.48. I bought my ChromePro on sale online from Walmart back in 2010 for 25 bucks...that was 10 years ago and it's still running strong. Gosh I've saved hundreds by cutting my own hair - I highly recommend! Links below.

I see a lever on the side of it, which is used to adjust closeness

I bought this as the pandemic took hold and have saved so much since. My haircuts are about $20 a pop (tip included) so one usage practically paid for itself. It may be rough the first couple times - you're stuck at home so no biggie - but you'll improve over time. There are plenty of youtube videos to reference. Sucks for barbers but myself and several others have discovered we no longer need their service as we can get comparable results ourselves at home.

Just FYI I've owned two of these Wahl Color Pro sets before. They are just OK. There is a HUGE difference between these and Wahl Pro Senior Clippers with the V9000 motor. Almost an unbelievable difference. I couldn't believe how much better the Wahl Pro Seniors were.

Should oil way more often if you want your blades to remain sharp.
