4 and 8tb versions of nvme are being readied for the marketplace.. but they are still super expensive. Should see 4tb take the plunge soon.. although I'm wondering if they will have interim densities like 3, 5, 6tb versions to offer more time to bring down prices on the highest densities. We should have 8tb commonplace by the time 1tb drives see their TB written get closeer to EOL (2023).

again slowlly this is NVMe, and at a price lower the 660p has been lately

This is QLC NAND (4 bits per cell). The drive 2 years ago was probably TLC (3 bits per cell). Both drives would be fronted by a SLC cache (1 bit per cell). I don't recommend using QLC as your OS drive.
