Is there something I'm missing? Walmart has been selling switch games for $49.99 and for it to be 5 cents under... I don't think that constitutes a deal? Well, it is Nintendo, maybe 5 cents off is a deal.

Many times online prices aren't as low as in-store prices. There are still people that refuses to visit a Walmart due to CV19. Believe that if you will. Or many just refuses to step into one for other reasons.

That's the difference with this post. Online, games are almost all full price. Only in-store are they normally the $49.94. Probably still debatable whether this is a deal or just a minor convenience, but it is at least different than normal.

Driving to and from a walmart is more than just a minor inconvenience to many.

Sorry about that, this was the price in the eShop right when I finally bought the switch (3 weeks ago now? Feels like years, but I digress). There were a bunch of games that are rarely ever on sale that went on sale the DAY the switch arrived haha. I think it was the sale that ended the 26/27th? I just didn't realize it ended and thought it was a similar price match by WalMart to the existing eShop sale. Best Buy has had plenty of games in stock which is a bit odd, in case anyone needs to just pricematch instead. You can do it over the phone.
