Although the web page doesn't mention this, there was a sign on the front that says you also get a $100 Lowe's gift card and a Ring Video Doorbell Pro. I just bought this refrigerator today. (Tax free weekend in Massachusetts) Apparently, you have to buy the doorbell at the store and submit a rebate form for the $100 gift card and the price of the doorbell.

Here's a pic of the sign that was on the front of the display model.

Ask any repair person about Samsung fridges and they'll tell you stay away. Disposable fridges

Yes, say no to Samsung! If the ice maker is in the fridge section it will not keep it cold and it will turn into a clump of slushy ice!

We just got a GE 28 a couple weeks ago. Really nice!! I believe there is a bit of an appliance shortage right now though, so that might affect your decision.

Can confirm I hate Samsung fridges w a passion. Have a model only a few years old now. Looks like this one but no smart features.

When the coils condensate, it melts into a tube that goes into a drain. This is all in a rear insulated section. There is a metal part in the drain that heats up to ensure it doesn't ice over. Well both the freezer and the refrigerator sections had a shit metal part that was either not long enough or bent wrong. Had to take the entire thing apart and install a new upgrade part from Samsung's website. Of course it's not free. It's $15 and if they installed it, hundreds.

That stopped the excessive leaking into both compartments and ultimately onto my floor.

The ice maker overflows because the sensor to stop making ice is slightly off.

Like others said the ice turns into a frozen block of ice every week.

Finally the fridge section in the French door type have the worst shelf height sizes I've ever seen. There are no options for different shelves or heights. You can remove an entire shelf but that leaves tons of wasted space.

Overall I hate it and can't wait to find a deal on a new one / hopefully this Xmas time.

American brands. Yes, it's all made in China, but if it's an American brand, it can at least be fixed. Most things that go wrong with foreign brands cannot be reasonably fixed. Plus Samsung just really seems to have incredibly high failure rates.

It could very well be the case that in 4 years after buying this, something will fail and you will need a new computer board. And the board will cost $500 and will take 2-3 weeks to arrive from Korea. But if it's a whirlpool, the board might be $100, and the repairman has it in stock so the fridge can be fixed in a day. The repairman cannot keep a stock of ever-changing $500 boards.

Would you want to spend $500-$600 or more, and be without a fridge for a minimum of 2 weeks, to fix the broken 4 year old Samsung?

No fourth drawer or external water dispenser. Price is decent but might be a deal breaker for some

+1 about Samsung fridge sux. YouTube Samsung fridge repair and lots of issues. My issues: ice machine stopped working and ice builds up in fridge causing lots of water under fruit trays.

We had a Samsung French Door fridge. One year in it needed warranty repairs. Then another few years later it needed repairs, but was deemed unrepairable (a line or something like that was too short after the first repair). It was still under the compressor warranty but not the general warranty. The company would send someone out to look, but if they deemed it our fault, we would be charged some amount of money and the fridge would not even be fixed. Fortunately, we agreed, and the repair person said that it was unrepairable, and filed paperwork for us to get our money back from Samsung corporate office. After some back and forth, Samsung did refund our purchase price in full including tax.
