    These don't work directly with smartthings right? Have to tie in another ecosystem similar to hue. Another account. Another platform. In the end it shows up smartthings but not natively.

    Bought one last week and it was very easy to setup, was going to get the myQ but read about subscription fee for Google assistant. Took me about 30 minutes to install. This works with Alexa and Google assistant, but I have no need to integrate it atm. The cheaper one, refoss, is the same as meross with different name. Meross app works on the refross, I believe it's $10 cheaper everyday price. Bought mine for $23.37 shipped from AWS.

    I setup my 2xMyQ (bought $20 each from Home Depot a while ago) this month and linked to my Prime. Amazon gave me a $30 credit for allow them to deliver inside my garage.

    MyQ doesn't work with smart things either (at least not directly). I have to have another app to control the garage doors.

    I've had the door opener for about a year now. Set up was fairly straightforward but may require a little thought but nothing technical. It does what I want it to do and the price is right. My only real complaint is it doesn't integrate into the Alexa app (at least on iOS) so to open/close from my phone I have to use the Meross app. Not a big deal though and it does have a handy widget that I would probably use anyway and I t does work with Alexa through voice.

    I have the Meross garage door opener, two 2-way switches and 1 1-way switch and 4 wifi outlet plugs. All of them work great and I have never had issues. Even after power outages, everything re-connects without any issue. I like the fact that their 2-way switches require only one of the 2 switches on the circuit to be replaced.

    Being able to yell at Alexa to turn off the hallway, kitchen, stairs, open and close the garage is so much easier than having to hit the switch, especially if your hands are full. And now if the kids leave the light on, the time is set to turn off the hallway in one minute, so no need to yell at them to turn off the lights. The Meross app works well, and I use it occasionally for the garage door.

    No need for any hubs, everything just connects to my router

    I don't know what you mean 'don't work with smartthings directly'? There is a direct Meross login inside Smartthings but agreed that they don't always reliably work but recently I saw a notice in my Meross app that they are upgrading something to make the Smartthings integration better.

    Have two of the garage door openers, they work pretty well. One minor annoying thing to me, is one of my garage doors the lift mechanism goes over the entire shaft so only way to hide the sensor wire is fishing it through the ceiling otherwise it's visible. I was hoping the app would have a way to reverse the open/close similar to wyze contact sensors.

    Either way, for the price they work well and install is simple.
