Going to go ahead and vouch for Vampyr. The story was honestly really engaging and fun to experience. Getting to decide who lives and who dies was interesting when debating if I wanted to level up before a boss fight or go as is. The only real complaint was combat feeling a little stiff. Other than that, it was so fun we beat it twice. The story, ambiance, characters, setting, and concept make it a great grab at only $11.99!

second this especially if you're craving a mechanically similar experience to the witcher. the gameplay loop is basically the same and there are some added adventure game elements that it does surprisingly well.

also I've got my eye on all those splinter cell games for dirt cheap...

Just a heads up; it's on gamepass

* Apparently, not anymore. It has left gamepass, and I didn't finish it. Damn!

FYI, Vampyr is available in the Windows 10 Microsoft Store for 11.99 without a gold membership.

No, it's not. It was, but it left Game Pass about 6 months ago.

Child of Light is a great game for <$5. Felt the length was just right too.

If you have a PC, this game is part of the current Humble Monthly for 12$. You also get 11 other games.
