Agree. Go for the Life Q20.

For an additional $20 you get:

1. Lighter headphone
2. Very good Active Noise Canceling (ANC) for the price
3. Better mic (4 mics for 2)
4. Bigger battery (60 hours vs 20)
5. Fast charging (5 hours in 5 minutes; Vortex has no fast charging)
6. Better BT tech (5.0 vs. 4.1)
7. USB C vs micro USB port

Really, there's absolutely no reason to not go for the Life Q20 vs. the Vortex. My only wish is that the Life Q20 came with aptX built in. There's a slight latency issue with it that aptx would take care of. It was also allow you to use it as a PC gaming headset as the sound quality would be much better when used as headset.

Amazon is currently selling the Q20 with a 10% coupon.
I paid about $10 more for them a few months ago and they are okay. Comfortable to wear for long periods and good battery life, the sound quality is just okay though, but for a pair of $30 Bluetooth headphones that's about the best you can do.

I got these used for $20 about a year ago and use them everyday at work for 8hrs. They are very comfortable and have long battery life but only thing is they're as big as my freaking head LOL. So looks a little funny imo

Found below review and it seems Q20 is an overall better product.

I paid like $10 more too for the brand about a month ago, but I got the noise-canceling ones. A little bassy, and if you bump into anything accidentally, DAMN IT'S LOUD!! But great charge time (like it doesn't need a charge for DAYS!!), not too heavy. If it's hot just a little sweat will make them stick to your head or just be kinda uncomfortable. I know there aren't Bose noise-canceling, but they seem good enough for $40! Like I don't hear my refrigerator until I turn them off, so that's something! I assume on a plane they'ed be better!

On-the-Go Calling
Vortex's built-in microphone and multi-function button allow you to answer calls without removing your headphones or reaching for your phone.

Q20 ANC is super great.
Fan and portable AC noice mostly cancelled.
Some of kitchen sink noises cancelled too.
Also, can blame it on ANC if not responding to wife on time.

I kind of noticed that too especially when playing youtube videos.. it will occasionally hiccup to get the sync right or even fail and force a refresh altogether. However, I like my q20s. They give battery stamina over regular earbuds. There are more opportunities to charge after multiple uses without running the battery to the end.
