Heads Up: Starting Sep 17th, 2020 - GeForce RTX 30 Series Bundle Brings You Watch Dogs: Legion and a 1-Year GeForce NOW Subscription for FREE

Enjoy,

This is a win-win deal for a major upgrade (if the confirmation and early leak benchmarks are true) and for those who are on the fence about buying the game. The free GeForce NOW sub is just a cherry on top. Obviously, used market will be flooded with cheap 20 series cards. A quick look on Ebay will give you a good $500-ish 2080 TI [wccftech.com], which was previously a $1200-ish flagship card. History repeats itself.

Official Announcement
[nvidia.com]

Official YouTube Game Trailer [youtube.com]

"... If you purchase one of these new GPUs or a pre-built GeForce RTX 30 Series PC at a participating partner, you'll get a PC digital download copy of Watch Dogs: Legion, and a 1-year subscription to our GeForce NOW cloud gaming service, enabling you to play your PC games on other devices and when you're away from home.

This offer extends only to select GPUs made by NVIDIA and our partners, and is available only at participating retailers and e-tailers, a full list of which will be available on our GeForce RTX 30 Series Bundle homepage come September 17th. So before you buy, be sure to check that your purchase is eligible for the bundle...."

and more info here [culturedvultures.com]

"...The offer will last up until October 29th, and its available at participated retailers. Word of warning though, the GeForce Now code will need to be redeemed by November 30th, and the one year period will begin from the moment its activated, so you've got a bit of wiggle room to get your RTX 3000 series set up before you make use of that code...."

Also, check out 3090 [nowinstock.net], 3080 [nowinstock.net], and 3070 [nowinstock.net] in-stock tracker.

and for your reference, Ebay 3090 [ebay.com], 3080 [ebay.com] and 3070 (TBA).

600 watts should be enough to power your system with the 3080. The 3080 draws less than 350 watts and your 3700x is less than 100 watts. what card are you using now?
You think my psu will handle the 3080? SilverStone SFX SX700G PSU - i am running a 3950x cpu but nothing much else other than ssds etc.

Will there be a 3080TI? I'm not familiar with if TI editions come for every new series of gpus. Thanks.

Anyone have experience with microcenter? I finally live near one. Think they will be sold out right away when they release?
Usually they stock new GPUs after a month of release, so you won't see them immediately available in store. It was like this last time.

You can be sarcastic but 2080tis are selling for $400 on /r/hardwareswap. Whole pages of people offloading those outdated cards.

Not a shock that last gen NVIDIA cards are dropping in price. Same as laptops that have last gen NVIDIA chipsets.

5700xt has a power draw closer to the 3070 but you should still be fine.

I don't feel bad for them at all. Most of them were nvidia bootlickers that are getting what they deserve.

Nobody should have bought any 2000 series gpu. I'm finally upgrading from a 980ti. Can't wait.
Same, 980ti I got for $600. Never did me wrong. Still no guilt to finally upgrade now. No regerts either.

I got a 2080ti. Even though it's value will drop by half, I will still use it for testing and developing our VR company stuff. Will buy 12x 3080s for our VR arcade, 5 3070s for our simulators, and 2x 3090s. One for me and one for our lead developer. It's gonna be fun. And we will take a ton of liquidated cards for other stuff and for new workstations for employees. Really happy with this line.
I don't think anyone cares

I know we're all excited af but remember guys, wait for benchmarks.
Who needs real benchmarks? Let Nvidia show them a few dots on a graph and that's all we need for the hype. I'll be looking for a prematurely dumped 2080ti to get some massive value.

The 2080 ti was $1200, not the 2080. I'm not mad about buying the 2080 ti. Been playing 4k@60Hz for 2 years. I'm glad more people are going to get a 2080 ti for $500! I'm on the hunt for a 3090!
My point was it wasn't a $1200 card and the new gen proves it. And I can get 4K 60fps on my $700 1080 so keep telling urself nvidia didn't eff you fools

nvidia recommended 650 watt psu for 3070 and 750 watts for the 3080 and 3090

It was at the time, because the 30 series didn't exist.
