I purchased these this a.m. (9/3 @ 8:05 a.m. ET) with the 30% coupon, so it's not quite dead if you are still interested...

I have existing ceiling mounted lights tied to a light switch. Can these replace those mounted lights and be turned on via a light switch?
I don't know ur setup but mine were hard wired in, this has a plug, so u would have to splice end off or do what I did and install an outlet.
Don't know ur setup or what's included with these, but mine came with everything to screw it to ceiling, hang like shop light, but no spring load to flush mount.
It also depends on what u have currently. In basement the ones I got fit into drop ceiling space. These don't look that type, u need one with a shield on top most likely. These r just tubes.

Yes, plan how you want them daisy chained and when you remove your first old light and look to see if they are plugged into a receptacle or hard wired. If receptacle it is easy, plug and go. If hard wired you can install a receptacle yourself (about the easiest electrical job you will ever do) and then plug in your first light, flip the switch and ta-da! Then daisy chain the rest.

You get what you pay for. A cheap power supply and a couple led strips in a cheap enclosure. Do not expect anything close to your typical shop light.
How much do you think fluorescent shop lights cost?

Everything is same quality now a days. The set at Homedepot or Costco r no better. Brand names mean nothing. I got the set they sell at Costco, very happy with them but I don't think they're worth twice the price or 50% more when on sale. I got mine at clearance, so I think I paid 19.99 for 2. On sale they were $29.99 for 2. Now they have new packaging and it's a 4 pack.
In terms of light output I'm sure it's the same, however these plastic tubes do not compare to the build quality and aesthetics of the honeywell/feit ones at Sams and Costco. It depends if you're doing a finished garage or a shed out back.

Even better are the traditional 4' fluorescent shop lights in the all metal enclosures. If you already have those, just pull out the transformer and you have a lifetime enclosure for 120V LED tube lights which have significantly dropped in price and increased in performance. (You can also get LED tube lights that take the fluorescent transformer voltage 230v or whatever, but then when the transformer burns out...)

I have the honeywells from sams and they are really flimsy compared to my old flourecent ones, so I have to think they are all the same these days. Great light though, so Im gonna try these...

I have these. They are not 48". The entire fixture is 48". The "light bulbs" are 39". Good value though.

I bought this one and I have the following also.

Both works well with me. But the link below has 6 individual lights. It can help light up more rooms/area better, and each lights uses less energy. But the build quality isn't that great.

The 6 pack of these same lights has a 20% off coupon on the page which takes it down to basically the same price per light as this deal.

https://www.amazon.com/Linkable-U...B07TM97LWY

So if you need/want 6 instead of 4, that's an easy way to do it. I'll be going from one 4' LED light plus two LED bulbs to 6 4' LED lights. My garage is gonna be lit!
