Just got countered $1849 shipped on greentoe. This is currently the lowest priced I've seen.

I got an offer for the 85" at $2349 as well. With no tax that about the equivalent of close to $2200 pre-tax. I can hold off to about March next year. Wonder how low it will go by then.

What's the point of waiting if you have the funds now? By March, you're going to be in the same situation waiting for or bidding on a x900I & posting the same thing.

I mean waiting makes sense if you really don't need a new TV and are fine with your current set up. In my case, I'm running a 46" 720P Bravia from 2006.....and I kept watching the x900H and I'm glad I waited from a month ago till today 😬. I hope this upgrade lasts me another 15 years 😂

I'm not so sure that's the case. This isn't about wanting the latest model year TV for the best price; it is HDMI 2.1 for gaming purposes mostly. Otherwise I would just buy another Q80R (or some other 2018/2019 TV).

Was hoping for $1800 but this is good enough. In for one.

Yes, a couple of them. No complaints.

Thanks!
Just pulled the trigger on this set after going back and forth on Greentoe over the past couple of weeks.
They let one of my lowball offers expire last night and only countered at $1,949, so I was happy to see this go lower.

Yeah, for me I was super close to ordering from Costco for $1969 for the 2 extra years of warranty, but now, GT makes more sense with the extra $120 off and no tax.

Something to consider:
Greentoe also offers extended warranties, and it appears you can negotiate those as well. Might be able to get 3-4 years for around $90.

I don't have any experience on whether the provider (CPS) has a good service record and is easy to deal with.

Dreadful reviews on Amazon. Most of the positive reviews seem to be from people who haven't used the warranty yet. https://www.amazon.com/CPS-Consum...geNumber=1
