Lexivon owned by Arkview LLC. Which gile trademark on the name Lexivon in 2018. Looks like Arkview own a bunch of companys.

meh. ive been on SD since roughly 2004. got locked out of my old account and had to make a new one. if you need a torque wrench, this is a good model and price point. i bought my 3/8 inch version to do my own oil changes, and paid $40. added in a vaccuum pump lets me suck the old oil out the top. no need to get under the car and mess around with any drain plugs or crush washers. ymmv, not all cars have top mounted filter.
How do you take off your under mount oil filter?

Does using extensions and adapters affect accuracy?

I bought a tekton year ago. Did not slip at the set torque. Ended up over torqued. Stripped the head while removing. Almost lost my bicycle power meter crank arm. Would be wary of quality

seller "Lexivon"

Brand seems to get staff posted frequently.
Where did you source the code OP?

For the price, seems like quite the value IF the quality is decent. Personally have zero brand experience and only know of the name due to constant "deal" promotion on SD.

Anyone buy in on prior posts and can review?
also, was there any incentive offered for leaving review? seems like unusually high number of reviews recently..marketing push perhaps
looks like these are schilled to chit by paid schills/staff...caveat emptor...

Ding ding ding we got a winner. Shill bots and company made accounts giving their "deals" praise to fake all the sheep out. Not to discredit their product. I have no opinion or experience on their offerings, but it's basic marketing practice nowadays on slickdeals.
plenty of sheep here waiting to get bamboozeled...

If this was similar to Harbor Freight I'd be willing to pay just because it has NM printed on the tool for bicycle torque conversion.

lexivon is US based company
They are as much US based as Xi Jinping.
Having a PO Box address in Delaware for tax-write off is not "US based".
ffs their website doesn't even list any phone numbers or addresses or names.
I highly doubt it's "made in Taiwan" too.

The 3/8" at $24.17 seems awfully expensive for a mystery brand when you can get a Precision Instruments 3/8" for $113.49.

I have PI torque wrenches and the split beam design is much better than the clicker designs as they can be stored at a preset torque without losing accuracy. Whether or not they are worth an extra $90 depends entirely on the user. My first torque wrenches were $10-15 harbor freight specials. These might be a decent upgrade to those. I upgraded them as I started doing more precise auto work (esp around engines)

If I already have a 10-80 ft-lbs torque wrench, is there any reason to get a 10-150 ft-lbs torque wrench rather than just getting the 25-250 ft-lbs one?

Not really. You'll be fine with the 25-250, then I'd consider a 1/4 dial style torque wrench that'll cover the inch lbs. Then you're set for most vehicles out there other than the HD stuff.

Bummer! Looks like they will only accept one of the codes, meaning you can't avail of the discount for more than one torque wrench so you can't complete the set.
