For this price wouldn't the Dell S2721DGF be better at $430 or less?

Wish they'd drop all the worthless aesthetic bits and lower the price.

I have a feeling these will be coming down in price soon

From TweakTown:

There is a big difference between the AORUS FI27Q, and the one we have here today with the AORUS FI27Q-P gaming monitor. The non-P display has a native 2560 x 1440 resolution with 144Hz refresh rate, but can be overclocked to 165Hz with 8-bit color.

The AORUS FI27Q-P on the other hand, can do it all: 1440p + 165Hz + 10-bit color all at the same time.

I don't think so yet. There were 1 or 2 models at least that were supposed to come out by now, but all the news is old so production must have had some problems.

I'm also looking for a high HZ IPS in 30-32" range with freesync, but also a FLAT panel, which seems to be the kicker...

These "gamer" models have strange/ugly aesthetics. Who's really looking at the stand that holds up their monitor...

Varies between $330 and $370 on sale:

I own G32GC and it is great for the money. OP's monitor is nice because it is IPS. Only regret about the G32GC is it was selling at a lower price than what I bought it for (and the one dead pixel).

ASUS ROG PG35VQ or bust. Rather save up for that and live off ramen than buy any other gaming monitor.

Personally I would not unless I needed a new monitor.

Monitors are one of those things that I don't bother upgrading until I feel like I'm fundamentally missing out on something. I definitely don't have a good enough eye to tell a good TN from a nice IPS.
