It will be a completely different sound, not necessarily an upgrade depending on your personal preference. I'm never blown away by the price of these Klipsch bundles. The value always seems quite mediocre.

I bought this last Christmas same price. I think it sounds great in my man cave. Bass is loud. Voices are clear. I cant hear any static or unusual noises from the speakers. Id buy it again ! I'm no audio snob though and my first 5.1 system besides some cheap small setups i had in the early 2000s when i was a teenager.

It's always pretty discouraging when I see deals like this, but then commenter's say how bad the equipment is. I am never going to spend $1k plus on sound equipment. Are these really that bad? How do they compare to the Jamo deal from a while back: https://slickdeals.net/f/14028395-jamo-speakers-pair-s-809-s-81-center-pair-s-801-bookshelves-s-810-sub-549-free-shipping?src=SiteSearchV2Algo1

jamo is owned by klipsch so you are sure to find a lot of parts sharing between them if not a complete re-badging of the same product..

For those unaware, this is posted by a SD editor, who confirmed that SD gets a commission on each sale. As a result these get front page promotion (Less than 20 up votes) whereas other deals with 100 or 200 up votes do not get the same treatment. So if you believe SD then the only place to buy speakers is from this vendor.

Gotcha, so in summary, it won't sound "better" than Andrew Jones. Just different. How so?

No direct experience with low end Klipsch but I have read enough that non experienced listeners would be happy with a low end bundle as it exceeds the level a soundbar can create. Problem with low end Klipsch is that they tend to be brought which means the high notes tend to make music hard to listen to after a while to some. This is not everyone so YMMV. If personally go for the infinities and slowly as soon as sales get better.

Unfortunately you have many people making fake post to steer you away from these post by iconian/Adorama/Klipsch claiming they are bad "deals".

This is evident by looking back at post by iconian and you will notice that the same people continue making these fake claims.

Other thing to look at is they only point to "presumed" negative aspects of the products regardless of the situation.

When asked for a better "deal" they either make an excuse or not respond.

This is because for the money these "deals" are hard to beat and they can't come up with one.

There are many many other factors to determine whether they are worth it to you and or work for your situation.

You have to understand these fake post have very little if any to do on determining whether they are good deal to you.

I would point out Adorama has a decent return policy and the only way to know if these are worth it to you is listening to them.
If you don't like them you can return them.

I occasionally post on these threads, because while there is a pretty good variety of posts and posters on other deals, the Klipsch deals are always posted by iconian for Adorama.

Personally, I have never owned a Klipsch product, so I can't vouch for the quality — these could be great products. But I'm not one of these "fake posts", as none of my posts have mentioned the quality of Klipsch products — I've only questioned the ethics of the posts themselves.

But iconian should not be using SD as a channel for advertising products for Adorama that are almost always the same price (by definition, not a deal). And especially if he works for or is otherwise getting paid by Adorama to post these.

SD should be used by the community to find and share deals. If any profit is involved on behalf of the poster, they should not be allowed, IMO. It's fine for SD to make money — it's their product and their community.

But when posters start making money from listing deals, that opens up SD to abuse, and devalues the product for its users.

If people like iconian and supermanrob (who is often on iconian's Klipsch listings) are making money someway through these posts, that's when it should be flagged as a sponsored listing so the customers are aware — or removed altogether. This is particularly true if Adorama has a ring of employees that are upvoting these posts (in which case, SD should really improve its ring detections — unless they're also getting a decent cut from these posts relative to other posts).

If no revenue is earned by iconian/supermanrob for their involvement with these posts, then it's just a couple of super enthusiastic users that really want to support Adorama and/or Klipsch — but that just seems highly unlikely.
