Regarding this deal, there is a $4/2 Colgate tp DQ, not sure if those tp will qualify under the DQ though.

I have been very inactive with CVS shopping. However I never cancelled my Carepass and spent that every month. By the 19th I have $25 in ECB and Carepass to spend.

Hey everyone, I need some advice with an issue I ran into this evening.

I always use the same phone number to print coupons and make purchases, and I've never created another account with this number. I'm labeling the EC number that comes up on the app as #1 and the EC number that has been showing up unexpectedly as #2.

I only have one EC account (#1), but all of my coupon center coupons and some of my ECB have a different EC account number printed on them (#2). I don't know how long this has been happening, but it hasn't been an issue until now because the ECB were always on my CVS app (#1), even the CRT ones that printed with a different EC number (#2).

(#2) was an issue today because I have a printed coupon for $4 off L'Oreal Cosmetics (#2) from the coupon center that shows up in my app (#1) as "printed". The coupon did not pull up on my account (#1) at the register and the manager would not accept the printed coupon (#2) even though it also showed up on my app. He said I need to call customer service, but Extracare customer service is closed until Monday and my coupons expire tomorrow.

Any suggestions? Should I just try to use the coupon at another store?

Thanks!

So you have a red machine CRT with a different number (last 4) showing than your actual card number? If that is the case, that is normal. Actual account number doesn't match up with the number shown on the ECB and CRTs probably to protect us in some CVS way. Not sure how showing actual last 4 is not safe since there are plenty of other numbers in your account number. If the cashier didn't push something through because an error said not for this card and then they said - see, the number doesn't match what we have here on the screen, they don't know their own system. I've had to tell cashiers that they don't print the actual last 4 on the ecb's and the CRTs. Doesn't help much if they won't budge, but a different store may be the way to go.

Somewhere along the line, someone has attached your phone number to another extracare account. You might have done it, unintentionally, or a cashier might have keyed in the wrong number when setting up an account for someone else.

I have removed the phone number from all the accounts I shop for because then anyone can use any of the coupons they can get from the red machine or ones that had been sent to the card.

I have no idea how to fix this without customer service assistance. You might consider buying something with your card and expiring ecbs that you can later return. Just remember, the replacement ecb will be one for all the ecbs you use. In other words, if you have $50 in ecbs expiring and use them all at once, you'll get ONE $50 ecb that you'll have to use all at once.

My CRTs from the red machine have the same last 4 digits that my card has. I've never seen the CRTs from the red machine having a different set of digits.

If you use your phone number at the red machine it drops the last digit and prints the 5th to 2nd to the last digits instead of the last four.

If you scan the card (probably if you type in the number too), the last four print and not the fifth to the last digit.

So say your acct is xxxxxxxxxxxxxx54321, using your phone number would print 5432 and your card would print 4321.

The loreal was a weekly so you can't send it to your card even though it shows up on the app.

If you have the card, the cashier can bring up your account info and tell u if there is more than one phone number attached to the card.

If you scan the card then you'll see the last four digits of the card. You'll think oh no! Some of my crts are not mine. Cashiers sometimes try to tell u it's not for your card.

Ok, well the fact that I never use a phone number with my cards would answer why ya'll see this and I don't. Putting your phone number in sure is a lot of touching the screen. Ugh!

Yes, I've read that. It's not worth it for me, though, for a number of safety and security reasons. The wait between the first three sets of coupons and the second three sets is less than 15 minutes, when just using your card.

Can you explain more about what is meant by "three sets of coupons"? Do you mean the same coupons from Red machine times 3? I usually have to keep scanning to get all the coupons till it says there are no more coupons for me..

You can get coupons from the red machine by scanning your card three times and then you have to wait to get another three scans worth. Put in your phone number and you can get them without waiting.
