Medium is awful for your gums and enamel. Use soft or sensitive bristles. Good to clean the rims on your car.
This guy knows what he's talking about! Soft or bust.

Every dentist I ever asked recommended soft. It's a wonder to me why every Brand still sells medium or harder.

I wonder the very same?? Its perplexing.
I guess there's some out there that absolutely stubbornly believe the best way to brush is with Medium and/or Hard bristles, without truly understanding the irreversible damage they are inflicting. Sigh.

I just purchased BJ's brand Ultra fresh soft 10 count toothbrush pack for $7.99 after clipping $2 coupon. They are pretty good. https://www.bjs.com/product/berkl...BAEALw_wcB

I'll admit I always felt like firm was the only way my teeth felt clean. It's taken a long time to adjust to soft. Electric is the way to go to prevent over scrubbing.

I only get soft but even the softs sometimes feel like mediums. Anyone know any true soft brushes?

Buy Colgate Ultra Soft or Extra Soft then.

I would buy these if they were soft. I hate Colgate because they now all have the rough patches on the back of the brushes. I want smooth back and not something roughing on the inside of my mouth.

Don't fall for it. "Medium" might as well be a wire brush.
