What about those of us who already have an active GamePass Ultimate and EA Play membership? Do we get that sweet conversion to GPU like we did with XBox Live Gold?!?
I don't think so. I just clicked the deal, and I don't see anywhere that the EA part is seperate, seems as when it's launched it falls under the GP U umbrella, not as a different or additional service or option. I'm good until 4/22 and would happily buy a year and change of gold, then sign up for EA, but I can't see a way. Then again, I've been known to miss things that are right in front of my eyes. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can help me/us out, cause that'd be great!

This is crazy good, 3 years for a dollar. Doesn't seem like much of a console war this generation unless you just have extra money or gift cards lying around-lol.

If I don't have Xbox Gold or Xbox Game Pass...

Should I first buy a year+ of Gold for $50, then do the $1 Ultimate?

I was going to trial for $1, but it told me, my gold would be converted to Ultimate (but I don't have gold) which makes me think I should do that for best value.

Some tips to help your first two bullets. When doing your mobile searches. Just save the tab and each day, go back through your history and the next day forward. For desktop searches, make a folder and save 30 links in there. I did a-z and then numbers 1-10. Right click on folder and open all each day. I am sitting at about 160k points and just hoping they bring 1 year of live back.
I've read of a few people getting banned that may or may not have been a result of your second suggestion but def speeds it up lol.

If you are saying that you have close to three years of live gold right now, bit don't have ultimate anymore, and you are going to pay the $14.99/month for Ultimate (for the first month only ) in an attempt to convert your live gold time to ultimate time, can you PLEASE post back here to let us know if it works ? We all know the $1 ultimate trial conversion works once, but nobody in any of the threads has posted confirmation that a paid $14.99 month of ultimate will ALSO convert live gold time to ultimate. Thanks !
What I'm saying is will EA play convert to Ultimate if ultimate is maxed

Yea one where someone tells you that you are wrong since a $600 console isn't cheap, and you're getting old tech that's only new to console gamers. And you can build a $600 gaming pc. And people usually end up being sold the original console then a year or 2 later the slim version then a year or 2 later the pro version. So you end up spending $1500 by the time you're done. Not to mention that if you build the pc right the first time you can use it through 2 generations of consoles.
You're arguing that the $600 console (historically $400-500, but fine I'll give possibly $600), is now $1500 because some gamers choose to upgrade. No offense, but that's a flimsy argument.

Also, you'll be HARD PRESSED to build a $400-600 pc with the specs of XSX, id say you're not. Let's also dismiss having to upgrade cpu/gpu/graphics card of the rig every 2-3 years to keep up with the graphical requirements of new games.

The idea that a $600 gaming pc getting you through 2 generations is laughable. What on earth can you run in 2020 on a pc that you purchased in 2008? If it isn't in a landfill...

The $1 for 3 years Ultimate deal just keeps on giving!!
If i convert 3 years of gold but already used the $1 first month game pass trial what happens? Is it just full price game pass for the first month then they add on my 3 years of gold to extend the game pass?

This is a ton of value. The series s/x is worth it for ultimate if you never buy a single game
Facts, especially since they announced no interest payment plans for the new console 25/35 mo for 2 years. Xbox is making a lot of good things easily accessible

You clearly don't build PCs if you think you have to upgrade every 2-3 years. I build them so they don't need upgrades for pushing 10 years. Also name a console gamer who only has 1 console and 1 console only. Also chatter all over is that the new systems are going to be $500-$600 ...oh yea but no one knows for sure because companies dick console fanboys around for months while you guys wait for crumbs of info on ur precious already old tech console OOHHH we get and SSD finally!!! Oh boy!! Here take my $500!!!
Lol fair enough.

As a day one orginal X owner, and a PS owner throughout as well, the X Gamepass has been the best money I ever spent on gaming. It is fantastic. Cannot wait for the new X and PS5

I did the basic math and if you buy EAPlay just to get extra months of ultimate it converts to approximately $7.50 per month. This is about half price however we see 3 month ultimate passes for $25 on slickdeals pretty often. So, this may be worth it for some.

Game pass is an awesome deal. I'm covered until 2022 as well. Playstation has nothing to worry about though.
What good does having the most powerful console do if there's nothing to play on it but older titles?

The Halo delay caused by 343 unbelievable decision to design the graphics like it would run on the original Xbox was the biggest brain fart in the history of the franchise.

That is why Halo Infinite will not come out in the foreseeable future.
