You get all of EAs great games like .....uhhhhhhhhh........ 🤷. They literally have nothing I'm interested in playing. But it's still a great deal. I think Microsoft is planning on this being their last console and they do streaming only after this generation of console. Anyone who can pull off being the Netflix of gaming is going to make a killing

What about those of us who already have an active GamePass Ultimate and EA Play membership? Do we get that sweet conversion to GPU like we did with XBox Live Gold?!?
It'll be transferred to gamepass on 1:3 ratio.

So for anyone looking for a deal...you can get Game Pass Ultimate for free through Microsoft/Bing rewards for like, 2 passive minutes a day. I do the following and have GPU through next year, and miss half the days:
  • In mobile app, search for a show and add cast. Cycle through the headshots up top. Takes 30 seconds to max mobile searches.
  • On desktop, go to bing.com, click through headlines to max searches. Takes a few minutes because I usually read a few lol.
  • On either, do the daily quest. I try to do this every day as you get bonuses for streaks
  • On xbox, download the microsoft rewards app; you'll get most if you play with any frequency. Just screw around in there.
I probably hit like, 40% of the above a week and still have enough for another 3 months. I burnt some on a $25 gift card a few weeks ago, too. Also the 3 month GPU normally is around 35k points, but will go on sale. Stock up then. Other people do WAY more than me, but this is max return on effort for me.
Not to mention if you're a Microsoft Rewards user and stack your 36 months of Gold, you can use a 1 month Ultimate code from that and it'll still convert 1:1.

I have two xbox live gold accounts that are expiring and missed the $1 ultimate deal about a year ago. Is there a current way to get gold/ultimate/whatever its called now any cheaper than $60 a year on cdkeys?
Costco?

Not sure if that will work. They did reset the conversion sometime this year though so if you haven't done it this year, maybe it will work.
The conversion still works as before, it hasn't changed (yet).

Wish this actually has a start date. "This holiday"? Not until Christmas?

I will say I think Xbox has the leg up for my next gen console money, at least at first.

I've always bought PS first, but I really enjoy Game Pass
The next gen consoles drop November 10th, so probably around there is my guess.

The ridiculous Gears 5 monster promo last year is paying off for those that did that haha.
LOL I remember that, but didn't get a chance to get in on it!

If I don't have Xbox Gold or Xbox Game Pass...

Should I first buy a year+ of Gold for $50, then do the $1 Ultimate?

I was going to trial for $1, but it told me, my gold would be converted to Ultimate (but I don't have gold) which makes me think I should do that for best value.
Stack 36 months of Gold then do the $1 Ultimate, just like before.

As a day one orginal X owner, and a PS owner throughout as well, the X Gamepass has been the best money I ever spent on gaming. It is fantastic. Cannot wait for the new X and PS5
Ultimate Game Pass is awesome, and I say that as a mostly PC gamer. I've gotten to try a bunch of games on Game Pass that I was on the fence about buying and so many of these games have no demos for you to try before you buy. It's saved me far more money than I've ever put into it by NOT buying games that were well reviewed but I personally didn't care for, and games I did like I managed to get in on a good sale on PC, so it's a win win.

If you are saying that you have close to three years of live gold right now, bit don't have ultimate anymore, and you are going to pay the $14.99/month for Ultimate (for the first month only ) in an attempt to convert your live gold time to ultimate time, can you PLEASE post back here to let us know if it works ? We all know the $1 ultimate trial conversion works once, but nobody in any of the threads has posted confirmation that a paid $14.99 month of ultimate will ALSO convert live gold time to ultimate. Thanks !
Https://Xbox.com/en-US/live/gold/upgrade there's a conversion chart in one of the questions there. Basically live gold for 12 months converts to 4 months of game pass ultimate. I got in chat with Xbox.

It works. All you have to do is on your Xbox click the button to buy GPU for $14.99 per month. You will get a disclaimer that tells you all your live is going to be converted. You can't have both live and GPU, or vice versa game pass and GPU. It all converts to their published ratios.

With the new console all access pricing including GPU, the value keeps adding up. MS is crushing it right now with zero first party games this holiday. Your move, Sony.

My Gold expired a few months ago. For me, I just bought 2 years of Gold from Costco email delivery. Then did the $1 conversion. Yeah it's not max 3 years but still pretty good.

This is crazy good, 3 years for a dollar. Doesn't seem like much of a console war this generation unless you just have extra money or gift cards lying around-lol.
How?...

It was an old option where you could convert live gold memberships to game pass. And you could have up to 3 years of live gold Stacked on your account. So if you signed up for game pass as a new customer with the $1 for the first month it converted all your live gold time on a 1:1 month ratio into game pass. But Xbox chat just told me they don't do that anymore. 1 Year of live gold now only converts to 4 months of game pass

I did the basic math and if you buy EAPlay just to get extra months of ultimate it converts to approximately $7.50 per month. This is about half price however we see 3 month ultimate passes for $25 on slickdeals pretty often. So, this may be worth it for some.
Can you please explain how this works exactly?

I don't really play Xbox anymore but had to buy Xbox live for my son to play Fortnite, I don't have the $1 ultimate offer I messed up and used it up last year randomly.

What's the best way for me to stack and convert for GPU? I'm primarily a PC player.
