Looks like Amazon might have matched Walmart's price for this set.

I have been disappointed with Lego Advent Calendars the past few years. The Funko Mini Advent Calendars from last year was excellent.

Agree. I only wish there were different versions. I got the Funko one for my son, and my daughter felt like she got a raw deal with the Lego Star Wars calendar.

If you have younger kids, the Tsum-Tsum calendar from a few years ago was also pretty good, and inexpensive if I recall.

As for the "deal" at hand - It's the same price at Walmart and elsewhere. Not sure where the deal is here.

I had to return the one I got from Walmart because it arrived damaged, so I'll give Amazon a chance to package well.

These aren't a great price per piece, but I think the kiddo will like have the Patil twins.

I tend to like the Harry Potter sets the most. This year looks pretty good and has a decent number of minifigs which are usually the main attraction. Some recent Star Wars sets were justifiably criticized as having very little of interest, very few minifigs, nothing really special. And as both the Harry Potter and Star Wars sets are priced $10 over the regular Lego City $29 sets, you kind-of want something to justify that extra cost. The Star Wars sets have been a disappointment. But as a Harry P figure fan, I ordered one of these at this nice $10-off price. Agree it's not a phenomenal price, but about the best you'll usually find, at least before the Holidays.Maybe luck out on clearance next year. And this year, who knows what supply/demand will be like. The calendar sets often roll into retailers soon, but often sell out at stores and are sometimes hard to find.

Saw this at costco for $28. Was going to get it for the wife but the only thing that is worth it is Harry and he is in every other lego set she has. There is nothing else distinguishable with this set.

It's a hard pass for me...

Interesting. How many minifigs of the Patil twins does she have?
