Found this deal now that the Dell direct discount is less. Not as good as that recent deal with the $100 e-gift card if you count that as good as cash but still the best deal I see at the moment. If anyone knows discount codes or how to get free shipping this gets even hotter, hope it helps someone.

I've never heard of this seller. I had to look them up and nothing on Trustpilot. Still, on the first page of Google results, I found these collection of reviews.

Really a buyer beware situation.
Provantage has been around for a LONG LONG time. Very reputable, albeit I haven't ordered from them since 2003

It's worth noting that while the vast majority of ratings are 5 stars, recently they have had negative reviews the the point they are sitting at 1.9 stars average based on that site's weighted formula.

Can't vouch for legitimacy of that rating system or that site, but just something I noticed

As hdmi 2.1 becomes more prevalent won't these become one step closer to being obselet and therefore even cheaper than this?

Can someone recommend a good 24/27" 4K 120hz monitor for around $300?

Can the USB-A ports be with just the USB-C going to the laptop, or do you have to use a separate cable?

Most likely not, whatever HDMI version these monitors have, is enough to drive it at the stated specs. Plus this is not a gaming monitor anyways, most office/standard monitor won't benefit from HDMI 2.1 anyways.

Factors that will make these cheaper are supply/cost/demand, Dell's refresh cycle, competitor products, etc...

I'm using an old HP monitor from 10 years ago, still got better color coverage than most new IPS monitors you see today, and you need top tier GPU to get solid 60FPS on 2560x1600...so not that obsolete IMO

I bought this last month from Dell website and this is an excellent monitor. Screen is crystal clear and USB-C works great providing power to my Lenovo work laptop. Lot of USB ports where I could connect speakers, wireless mouse/keyboard etc and Dell display manager software makes it so easy to have multiple split screens.

DP 1.4 does support a lot of BW. The ports available on these are enough to drive them at the max resolution. HDMI 2.1 is where we start seeing 4k @ 120Hz monitors sometime next year.

The $35 shipping charge kills the deal unfortunately.

1080p? Anything more and it's definitely not within budget
