Received mine today, unimpressed with SQ, compared with my Triple-fi's sound on W60 is very thin, severely lacking in bass, FLAC files tried with straight from Note 10+, Dell XPS 2019 straight & Mojo and in every mode Triple-Fi's are superb while W60 is mediocre at the best.

I doubt burn in would change SQ that much,,will check it in couple of days..looks like they'll be going back.
Burn in does help. I did 50 hours. These need balance cables and then you will find bass in spades. I use these with A&K 100 mk2 and sometimes with Mojo. These seem to function better when you have more power.

I own the following earphones (my headphone collection or speaker setups are not part of this list):

Wired:
Westone W60 2nd Gen
Shure SE535 v2 (just ordered these recently)
Triple.Fi 10
Sony XBA-N1B (balanced connection)
Sony XBA-N3B (balanced connection)
Kipsch X11
Sennheiser IE800

Bluetooth:
Bose SoundSport
Samsung Galaxy Buds+
Powerbeats Pro
Apple Airpods Pro
Jabra Active 65t

And a Sony NW-WM1A HD Player.

Not to mention some portable Amp/DACs for my headphones and earphones: Sony PHA-3, Teac HA-P50S and Chord Mojo

First of all wired earphones sound superior to the wireless ones. Not a single wireless earphone can compete with the wired in terms of sound quality or fidelity.

Of the wired ones the Westone W60 has the most neutral sound and these have totally spoiled me. Sony have a slight U shape (that fun) sound and the Shure I have not received yet. Senneheiser IE800 are more bass heavy (gave them to my wife since she prefers bass favoring headphones/earphones). Klipsch are by far the most comfortable but good for mainly highs and mids and these are the ones I use for studying or reading just because I am listening to more relaxing stuff and these are super comfy. The Triple.Fi were my go to earphones for the longest time but now I use the others for music listening mainly. They're still a great earphone just fall short in an area when compared to any of the above. Honestly it's just one area vs each earphone so they're still a solid earphone but now I lean towards the others that I have.

The thing is that earphones and headphones like everything else in life, the difference between inexpensive and luxury is there. How much it matters to you is a different thing. I have an obsession with music and therefore for me to maximize my enjoyment out of it I spare no expense in this hobby.

There are areas in life where I don't care to spend a lot of money or chase after the best experiences. But will more money buy a better experience or a more premium item? Absolutely. Do I crave for it or need it? No. But I am not going to say that there is no difference between what I have and what the more expensive luxury items bring to another person.

The earphone is great when it is working. I purchased w60 in the middle of August this year. the right ear piece is broken at the end of October. It is not the cable as I purchase a new cable which did not help. I did not wear it when I work out. Westone customer support are nice and helpful. However I have to pay for the shipping to send w60 to Westone for warranty replacement.
adorama did not like my review (similar to as above) and did not publish in their website at all. No wonder it has 4.7 of 5 on their website.
