Costco.com has Logitech Precision Pro (M720) Wireless Bluetooth Mouse for $19.99 + $5 Shipping

It hasn't been on sale at Costco since around February. Too bad shipping is not free.

I think it's a pretty good mouse. I bought it at regular price and have been using it for a few months now without any problems. It's nice to be able to switch between 3 laptops/Chromebooks without needing to move the USB adapter around with built-in Bluetooth.

Only $10 OFF the usual price.

$10 manufacturer's savings is valid 9/13/20 through 9/26/20. While supplies last. Limit 5 per member. Terms & Conditions

Features:
Easy Switch™ Technology
Pair up to 3 Computers and Seamlessly Switch Between Them
Hyper-Fast Scrolling
Built to Withstand up to 10 Million Clicks
24-Month Battery Life

Anyone have an opinion on how this compares to the venerable M510? Love the simple and large shape of that one but im having terrible luck with it starting to ghost double click etc after not that much time at all.
For what it is worth, have two M510s and two M720s and really haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary with any of them (other than previously mentioned M720 initial bluetooth lag not seen with the dongle).

Went to local store in SoCal, none in stock and rep told me nearest is in AZ. I will check one more store and then order online.

Don't bother with price-matching with Best Buy. Just got off a long chat with multiple agents and they didn't budge. Pointed out the picture on the Costco site showing the model number, but they wouldn't acknowledge it. They refused to admit it's the same model, and also said Costco doesn't have it in stock locally, so therefore it is not eligible. Very frustrating. You MIGHT get lucky but be prepared to pull your hair out.

For anyone that has this mouse, does the click wheel have side scrolling in addition to the vertical scrolling? I'd like to use this mainly for spreadsheet work.
Horizontal scrolling can also be done by using the wheel while pressing SHIFT.

Both are comfortable to use, but I can easier switch to other laptops with the M720. Also the M720 has the hyper-fast scroll wheel.

Actually, that is not correct. I have it paired with two of my laptops with unifying receivers. You need to download the Logitech Unifying receiver software on the machine, then select the channel e.g. 2 or 3 and initiate discovery of mouse using the logitech unifying receiver software. It's pretty straightforward.
You do realize that this has built in BT as well USB adapter right? If you use USB adapter then it works only one device at a time. Go check and open the mouse, there may be an extra USB adapter hidden. That switcher thing is only for BT.

I just triple checked and there's no usb adapter in the package. I wish there was a usb option because the bt model is wacko. Probably just got a bad one but after multiple freezes and random button behavior I've returned to my old mouse. On this new one the battery is good and the mouse is less than 30" from the pc so it can't be a reception issue. The price was low and when it works I like the feel of the buttons and wheel so it'll go on a shelf as a backup but all in all not happy Frown
Edit: usb adapter is inside the mouse by the battery! Yay.

Anyone seen this in-store to avoid the $4.99 shipping?
I've confirmed in store today for $17.99 at my local Costco.

I just opened this up and used it today. Feels great in my hand, a little bigger than what I'm used to but still comfortable. The hyper-scroll feature is pretty awesome I also like the back-forward buttons and ability to switch between computers. Awesome buy for $20 in store. Thank you!!!

First person on chat said no. Second person price matched with no problem
