Right now perksatwork and possibly other perks programs are offering special coupons for t14 amd gen 1. You might get a better deal via perks website. You can not use cb websites with perks program.

Did you get the cashback from R* website? I found it impossible to use the 10% coupon so I did the same, going through perks at work.
Cash Back doesn't work through EPP.

Only 128GB SSD
100 bucks for a 1TB nvme. For the specs on a Ryzen, I think this is the best I have seen so far.

I got the $600 Ryzen 4500 deal a couple months ago. Fast enough for me but thinking of giving this to my daughter for schooling and her video editing projects.

Is this $900 laptop a decent upgrade or will I not really notice any difference? I do video editing, photoshop, development work, lots of concurrent tasks.

EPP price difference between the 400nit and the 500nit with touchscreen is about $80 -- would that be worth the upgrade?

500 nits panel is not a good one. 400 nits non touch panel is much better and a little bit more color accurate

This laptop is primarily designed for business use. 400 nits panel is good enough for your use case. Also 4750U is as fast as 4600h which is faster than Intel 9750h, I'm not even talking about battery consumption. It looks like rp15 or legion 5 amd version would be better choice for you.
