Right now perksatwork and possibly other perks programs are offering special coupons for t14 amd gen 1. You might get a better deal via perks website. You can not use cb websites with perks program.

Sweet thanks. Shipping time reduced to 3 weeks, I'm going for it. Thinkpad here I come! Love my Ryzen 4000 lenovo flex but am yearning for a more solidly built device so that's going to my spoiled kiddo. woot!
How did you get the shipping time to three weeks instead of 4 to 5 weeks?

Same here. Just tired and it's still 4-5 weeks. Really not into waiting so long.

It just showed up that way during checkout. I didn't do anything different, just assumed shipping was updated recently.

Is it the same spec as OP? How do you like it?

Do you have any experience with their 250 nites screen? I really don't want to wait the 4-5 weeks. Many of their preconfigured T14 AMD looks great, but they all comes with 250 nites. I can easily configure one with better screen 400 nites, 16GB RAM, smaller drive. Only for about $80 more, but just the wait time is killing me. I did some reason search and it seems to say that 200 nite it the minimum acceptable. I'm using an old ass MacBook pro 2011 (I'm not sure what nites is it but it's not bright).
I use a X1C7 with a 400 nit screen and I would say 400-nit is good and I won't consider anything lower for a premium laptop at this price point. Previously had a X230 that was 250nit and that was dim in comparison. 400nit is worth the wait.

Exact same spec as OP (4750U, 400 nits, 16 GB soldered, backlit kb, fingerprint scanner). Can't tell you how I like since it will take 4-5 weeks to arrive Stick Out Tongue

Thanks. I picked up a P14s for around $700 with perkstwork (didn't want to wait the five weeks). The only thing I'm not sure is that the screen is 250 nits. I'll wait until I get the unit in a few days and see. If it's really that bad I'll return it and customize one of the T14.

With that said, the T14 AMD is still very attractive, for ~$170 more, I can get a Ryzen 7, 16GB, and 400 nits screen (vs the p14s, with 10th gen i5, 8gb, and 250 nits screen).
