Same for me. Amazon food has been spotty. Walmart.com has been great during the pandemic but ironically ordering from the local Walmart store for pickup has been horrendous.
Local Walmart has been fantastic for pickup for me.

Their in store prices beat anyone else around me but they ALWAYS mess up our order. 10 out of 10 and we gave up and went somewhere else. I'm sure it varies by stores though.

Example, we ordered toothpaste with baking soda in it. They substituted with actual baking soda!

I would be pretty cautious about ordering food on sale on amazon. I feel like 4 of 5 times I've done so the food was right next to the expiration date.
Dude. It's f'ing popcorn kernels. You're THAT worried about expiration?

They are average. Alot of unpopped kernels. If you want better kernels and dont mind paying more then try "Bob's Red Mill Resealable Whole White Popcorn". Pack of 4(7lbs total) for $20. They taste better and alot less unpopped kernels.
Never had issues with these kernels (they are actually my favorite in the last several years) but this is a great idea! I'll try the ol Bob's next!

Popcorn kernels dry out and become harder to pop. Not really worried about it being harmful to eat or anything.

I bought some variety packs of chips on sale from amazon and every time half the bags are stale

For best results don't forget the Favacol and coconut oil. Authentic cinema taste.

I've been buying this from amazon for the last year and have never had an issue with staleness or not popping. We pop it in a whirled pop.

Ive never had an issue with Walmart curbside grocery pick up. Its usually out to my car on an average of 3 minutes. No wacky substitutions, but if you check your receipt before leaving to pick up it, you can have them remove the item right there at your car before loading, Its quick and easy.

Interesting. Wegmans is always $1.99 for 2 lbs aka the same price pound for pound. I think giant is too. Not sure about trader joe's.

Avid popcorn eatter here. This is a solid price for good tasting popcorn. Works great in my machine. I usually try and purchase under 10 cents an ounce. This brand never disappoints
