Great deal and great food for dieting if you don't cover it with oil and butter.
Yea, except fat is good for you. It's the calories and Carbs that get you Diane.

You can still use olive oil or avocado spray and not gain weight. At least, I don't. So much better than the microwaveable nonsense.

Pops great for me. We use a 5 or 6-quart saucepan on the stove. Hardly any unpopped kernels. I'll be adding Old Bay next time. Thanks for the tip.

I usually coat the bottom of the pan with kernels and it does up the whole sauce pan. Generally I make two of these each time. So yeah, we eat popcorn often. I'll try the other brands that the others are pushing; such a war about the other brands????

I'll see.

Thanks OP. Last picked it up for 11.49 in May.

healthy factors aside... Does anyone have a best method to season this? Butter and salt is the basic option i look for...
If you like real movie theater style popcorn, use Flavacol seasoning and Snappy butter burst popcorn oil.

Flavacol is nothing but coconut oil with yellow coloring it seems and some artificial flavors. I got it extremely close to the movie theatre flavor by using coconut oil and dumping some butter in it while heating it and then throwing the kernels in the pan. I one tried these kernels but for some reason, I thought the Walmart(Great Value) brand kernels popped better and larger.

Their in store prices beat anyone else around me but they ALWAYS mess up our order. 10 out of 10 and we gave up and went somewhere else. I'm sure it varies by stores though.

Example, we ordered toothpaste with baking soda in it. They substituted with actual baking soda!
Did you contact walmart customer service? I ordered some fat free cheese and they gave me regular and I emailed them and refunded me and said I could keep the cheese they gave me. And their substitutions have been on point for me. Unfortunate your local walmart is not on point like mine.

Is there free shipping?
Do I need to pay 2x as much per pound to get 'free' shipping?

I have an air popper and an oil spray bottle that I put vegetable oil in. I pop without oil in the air popper, use a few sprays of the oil, and some salt. I use the cheapest at walmart that is about 1.50 for 2 pounds. It tastes amazing and 200 calories of it is a HUGE amount of food. It is surprising when you actually weigh out the kernels how much it actually makes. My kids love it too. It is a substantially better than the microwave popcorn, cheaper, and much better for you.

I've ordered this multiple times from Amazon and it's always popped very well (silicone popper, microwave). Just ordered a few days ago @ $11.99 - this is a good deal!

There isn't that much point in eating it without the oil and salt - but you are correct - it is much better for dieting without it! Damn!

They don't sell popcorn, that you can pop yourself, at Costco.
Costco in my area has been carrying this consistently for years. I believe for $9.99.

add 4 kernels, heat on mediumish until most pop, then add rest of kernels, let them sit off heat for 1 minute, then back on heat and cover, shaking around a bit to evenly coat and heat. Once start popping vent the lid and keep shaking on heat... i typically only have 1 or 2 kernels out of hundreds not pop... youre doing something wrong if you cant get these kernels to pop

Unrefined cocunut oil tastes the most buttery, and if you want to get more unhealthy you can add flavocol

Yes, they always refunded but it took time and effort to get back a few bucks.

But this last time it dropped to this price. Was really disappointed. Did not pop well. So many unpopped kernels.
Yeah me two about half don't pop and reheating just burns. Anybody have a better brand they'd recommend?
