I thought I had a cunning plan for this coupon and then 5% off for the next gen consoles.

Then I read the exclusions.

Probably great for those who grocery shop there.

Anyone know how far back they check to see if you already had a debit card? I had one about 12 years ago but canceled it around the same time.

Is this the best target red card deal they had or was there one better. I have been holding off on signing up until there is a really good deal but not sure if this is it or not. Please reply

No hard pull for Debit Card....
Can we get a DP confirm on this? Sounds tempting but can't have hard pulls right now.

What a mess. They claim you can start using your approved debit card online (but not in stores) immediately before it arrives, but then they demand an expiration date that's not provided upon approval. When you call card services, they refuse to reveal the expiration date "for security reasons" and eventually admit that it's a bug in their system.

Last time I got this I was able to use the coupon twice. You must use in store first, but take a pic of online coupon code on the coupon itself before surrendering it in store. After I got home from store I placed an online order for pickup using the online coupon code.

In the previous thread I believe everyone who used online coupon first then tried to use physical coupon in store was told coupon was already redeemed.
You don't have to use it in store first. I did it the exact opposite way. It doesn't matter which way you do it, you can use it both online and in store. I figured it easier to use online first so I didn't need to take a pic of anything. I actually waited so long to use the coupon in store after I used it online that it was literally the last day before it would expire. So no issues doing it either way. This was just last week too, so it's not like something I did 6 months ago.

Been thinking about getting this red card for a while... Maybe I'll pull the trigger. 5% off is nice. I live in a place with 10% sale tax

My wife has a red card in her name linked to our back account, am I able to apply for my own card with the same bank info?
I had the same question. I just applied but ended up using another banking account. Was approved immediately.
