1,000 UR points are worth $10.00 and 1K would be worth $100.
Unless you transfer it to chase preferred or reserve, then they are worth 25% to 50% more, or airlines where it can be worth a lot more (value is in how you you use it and what it is worth to you in that case).

1,000 UR Pts I think are worth $100. 100k pts = $1k. Should be a option to transfer them to Southwest or Hyatt.

how about gift cards ? walmart/amazon/visa cards ?
I have heard that Amex disqualifies the purchase of store gift cards if you do that to meet spending requirement. Not sure if it is true with Chase cards as well. It says in terms that 'purchases do not include cash-like transactions'. depends on if they treat gift cards as cash-like.

Here is the link to the article about AMEX. There is some risk to spend on gift cards.

As an FYI, with Chase you can move all your credit line (including from Sapphire (all variants) from an account being closed except for a min $500 credit line that has to be retained on a closed card.

So, if you have $15K on CSP, you can move 14.5K to Freedom
Yep, I am aware of that. My comment was in the context of avoiding the rumored hard pull you mentioned when bumping an individual credit line > $35k.

I have the regular chase sapphire.. downgraded from chase sapphire preferred like 5 years ago. Do I qualify ? ಠ_ಠ

Could you try and let us know if you get approved for the preferred or not ??
I'm very curious on this exact subject.
Supposedly NO, but I'd like to know.
There is no 'supposedly'. The answer is a very simple NO, you do not qualify. If you change the standard Sapphire into a Freedom Unlimited and wait at least 4 days, then you will be eligible.

$95 Annual Fee sucks
lmao, does it really?

There's thousands of posts across dozens of threads explaining how these cards give you hundreds of dollars in value just to sign up and thousands more over time, but hey, it's not free, so that means it "sucks".

I've literally banked over $1,000 per year NET since I got the Reserve.

Good story bro. You're bad with money and apparently you like to flaunt it.

They don't waive the fee anymore. I still had my wife grab the card and we'll happily pay the $95 for 80k pts, which for us is going to be worth $1,200 minimum.

How strict is chase on the 4 year rule? I signed up for this card in 2017 and received the sign up bonus of 50k points during September 2017.

Anyone have any luck getting the 80k bonus from referrals? I just called Chase and they told me they are only doing 60k bonus through refer-a-friend right now.

I'm debating if I should just get the card right now, or wait until the refer-a-friend bonus becomes 80k

Excellent card for the 80K bonus points as long as you charge $4K in 3 months (you could prepay phone/internet/electricity etc bills in order to reach the threshold if you are falling short.
Think of this as a godsend offer. Many of us want to get the card but unfortunately are ineligible.

You are asking for a scam number for an anonymous stranger on the internet? Go to the Doctor of Credit website. It is there.
