The applications should remain useful for many years. I used my Office 2007 for 12 years without problems and expect to use my Office 2019 for a long time as well. Theae are mature products so the improvements from year to year or marginal.

My guess is that very few people who are successful in life have this attitude. Could ethics and success be tied together?
So your theory is that successful people (whatever that means) are ethical people, and non-successful people (again, whatever that means) are unethical? LOL. It's been a while since I have heard BS as ludicrous at that belief.

If you are measuring "success" by wealth/education/etc., I know, work, and live among many wealthy professionals. Some of these wealthy, highly-educated professionals are the most unethical dirtballs you can imagine. Conversely, some are wonderful human beings as well. But the same can be said for the non-wealthy, non-highly educated, non-professionals that I know. Some are wonderful individuals, others are total trash.

A simple look into the lives of our politicians on both sides of the aisle should have given you enough reason from formulating such a ridiculous theory and statement.

When you purchase this deal. You get two separate emails to download Microsoft Student and Norton. You do not have to install Norton if you do not want to.

SD indicates that the deal has expired. However, the price is selling for $80.
(cheaper than the big box and membership retail stores)

End of Life is 10/10/2023. So a good solid 3 years for $80 is not bad at all, better than 70 a year, three years for 365 would be $210.

Whatever gets you through the night, eh? There are still people—most people—who believe stealing is wrong.
I have never seen a pirate give an honest answer why they steal. They always have a prepared weasel response for it. Like the idiot that justifies it as grey area. What the hell is a grey area? Who knows. One thing they would never do is steal that software if someone in his family wrote it. Once an ahole, always an ahole.

This was a much needed Excel upgrade for me. While LibreOffice is free open source software (FOSS), it's just too clunky for me and missing certain features I rely on.

Just FYI from someone who last used MS Office Pro 2010 and prefers to limit sharing personal data...

The only way to install a legit copy was to download a setup file (a few megabytes) from the Microsoft website, which requires a Microsoft account. I used an alternate e-mail from my primary to setup the account. There were no options to customize the installation. I'm able to still use the program and check for updates after signing off through one of the installed apps.

I was using Google Sheets and it is not the same as Excel (to me at least) There are some functionalities that does not work in Google Sheets.
