Aren't the Costco (and Sams) versions 20lbs, not 15? If so, similar cost per pound. I remember checking after I ordered from Amazon and the bag seemed a lot smaller than my previous Costco bag, but I haven't been to Costco lately to know if their bag size changed.

I also just checked my Amazon order history - ordered this same item (same brand, same size, same bag) on May 27 2020 for $12.74 (I know, different times = different prices, and this may be the best price available right now).

Thats true. This bag is smaller than Costco bag. Costco bag is 20lbs.

bland commercial junk.
if you want real india grown and fragrant basmati,
visit your local indian grocer.
Funny you say that because actually this is one of the main brands my local Indian store sells!

Decent price. Even Costco sold for closer to $17-$18 dollars before covid. Now bags are around $19-$20 bucks. Good buy, even if not in stock for next 2 weeks, which often cones in stock sooner as they get supplies.
Costco sells 20 lb bag and sams sell 25 lb bags. They are way cheaper $ per lb

I used to love this stuff, seems quality has declined a bit but still worth price

Wish it didn't "plug me up" so much because I could eat 5-6 servings a day

I bought this rice for $19 for 25lbs bag at BJ's wholesale after coupon. Don't think this is a good deal to me.

always check for those Rice beetles/bugs that can come with rice. I had a basmati rice bag of this type (non plastic) and it came loaded with these bugs that infested my house. Ive never had an issue with the rice that came in those thick plastic bags (15lb+) that are the usual with jasmine rice.
