Anyone know what this compares to Costco's current member sale?
For the cascade part, I'm not a costco member but at sams club, when this goes on sale, it usually is a better price.
Sams club current price (without sale) is coming up to 22 cents per pack, while this one is a little under 20 cents per pack. This is a good deal

Yeah, this is not slick at all and definitely not front page worthy. Just last month (Aug 2020) I got the exact same product and quantity (2) from Amazon w/o S&S for $16.97 (w/CA tax included)

Not to mention that it's a P&G product that can used towards the $25 Costco cash card promotion with $100 of P&G products purchased in September.
Yep! I spent $230 and picked up my dishwashing and laundry products for close to a year. And the $50 in rebates is a bonus.

My understanding is you don't need Platinum at all unless you don't pre-rinse your dishes.
I never pre-rinse as I was taught that it's a waste of water and you lose any efficiency/resource savings if you do. I use either these (Platinum) and Cascade's Complete and never have any issues about NOT pre-rinsing.

Can anyone comment on this product vs the regular finish powerballs. Maybe they've past their shelf life but aren't nearly effective anymore (powerballs).

Costco is currently $14.99 (in warehouse) for 92....16 cents each. This Amazon deal would be 19 cents each.
Also, the Costco one is "+ Dishwasher Cleaner"
in short, costco is better deal. its advertised at 17.79 after $5 mfg coupon online. At your local store, it could be cheaper!

do you clean your dishwasher filter more regularly?

we don't wash our dishes, but do a quick rinse of mostly big stuff before putting it in the dishwasher. Mostly because I don't want to clean the filter more often than recommended.

Sam's club is rated pretty well along with Cascade at Consumer Reports. Only the Quantum Powerballs were comparable.

Cascade platinum is always out of stock at my Costco and it's been OOS online since Saturday. So this is great timing for me.

I believe the Dishwasher has a garbage disposal built in so there isn't a filter or at least not one that I check; hope I'm not missing something, lol. Also, don't get me wrong, I'll scrap the big stuff off of the plate into our garbage disposal in the sink before putting it into the dishwasher; I just don't run the faucet which is what I'm assuming you are meaning. Also as an FYI for others, we run the dishwasher every 1-3 days depending on when it's full and they come out clean..

Best pods I've ever used but that's a lot of pods! I use 1 per week so I don't want this many!

We have very hard water, so finish powerballs leave a white film on glass whereas Cascade Platinum does not

Why in the world would you pre wash your dishes? Waste of water and effort.

Edit: yeah sorry... Saw the other posts asking the same after I posted... On mobile and it sucks.
