Anyone have any idea when Dollar General may do the 15% off promotion on Lowe's GC again? That is a SLICKDEAL!!

Last time I bought $2500 worth of gift cards for $2125 and got cash-back via my credit card.
Would love to know, bought $1000 didnt think I'd ever need that much but down to 160 or so

I assume this is an attempt to sway people from buying because it literally takes two seconds to buy them... that or you are truly that lazy? Either way I find it amusing when $10 off of $100 makes FP but $5 off of $45.. nah, horrible deal! Not even worth my time! Except to write a comment about how its not worth my time
Not sure what their angle is but I don't trust Groupon at all. They have utterly failed to communicate on many different levels. The biggest grievance I personally have is literally being threatened by a manager in a chat without explaining anything. I am not kidding, legal action, contact local law enforcement, etc if I ever use their service again like I was a criminal.

This only happened after buying a newegg gift card from them that was limit two per customer. The deal was choosing either $50 or $100 for 10% off plus 6 or 12 months of their membership program (free shipping). They disabled your account forcing you to contact customer service who would apologize, confirm you can purchase two, and fix your account. When trying to buy again the purchase would go through but you would be banned again. If you pushed they got you to a manager where you were threatened as noted above. As far as any of us who were threatened could tell, they probably meant limit one per option but they phrased it terribly and let you keep making the purchase. They never explained anything and just treated us like criminals. So yes too much work for $5.

Was able to stack samsung 16% and second account had $5 in groupon. Going to see if any fine print for gift card purchases excluded from Samsung but have fingers crossed.

damn just checked 16% is excluded from gift cards...oh well still used up groupon dollars and balance in PayPal that was just sitting there.

unless you know what you want to buy you will be holding on to gift card for a long time.

lowes has practically no deal, they do not accept any coupons besides lowes, and just about everything they sell is overpriced and can be had at HD or Amazon for less.

groupon removed my account which still has groupon bucks.
They did that to mine too. They did it less than two weeks ago. I won't be dealing with groupon in the future.

Their heyday was 2009...I feel like now you can find similar deals directly through the businesses website, bypassing Groupon all together.

They price match with any legitimate business. Plus 10% military discount it adds up.

Note that Lowes.com website has been broken a while and not allowing you to use multiple gift cards at checkout. It's supposed to be up to 5 but doesn't work.

Also not that when using a Lowes.com gift card, if you or the store cancel your order, you will then need to wait weeks to get a replacement gift card mailed to you from Lowes.com - really ridiculous.

I think it is more that groupon is shite. I have used it before and it was funky at best. It was a food gift card that apparently expired per groupon in a few months or something, but was at least redeemable for what I paid for it (without the discount/bonus).

I will pass up on the ball ache that is groupon unless it is the most amazing deal on something I would use immediately.
