I wonder if the ones posted here are better or these for a garage:

https://www.amazon.com/LED-Garage-Ceiling-Light-Deformable/dp/B07BQV1CMY/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keyword... [amazon.com]

I'm redoing all of the lighting so either way is good. I need balanced lighting for sanity sake at night time (I really hate dim areas where I need to pop out a flash light just to find a screw or whatever) but I dont want the whole sealing filled with long lighting.

Also, I'm wondering which one is cheaper to replace once the lights go out?

Advice would be nice!

I replaced all my shop lights with these, they are indeed very bright. They do not have any diffusers in front of them, so it almost hurts your eyes when you look up for anything. Pro tip, draw them out so you can figure out how to daisy chain them, and then when you pull your first light down take the wires and install a receptacle box there. it will be switched from your light switch , so that way when you switch on that outlet the lights comeon on. plug in your first light bar there and daisy chain the rest.

These feel a little on the fragile side, but once they're hung up how often do they get messed with anyway? Absolutely worth the money, without question the best decision I've made for lighting in my shop.

Check the front page for a way cheaper option for the same brand.

Those are not nearly as bright. About half brightness.

I thought the sams club honeywell ones were cheap until I ordered these (sams are at least metal). These are so flimsy, there is no way I trust them to hang in my garage for years attatched to 120 volts 24/7. Its thin plastic held with plastic - I can pinch the tubes with my fingers. I assume the wires are as thin as possible as well. Returned...

The white version was $30 yesterday after coupon. I guess the black one is more expensive.

Missed out on the white. I would have jumped on the 4 for $30.

Bought these last time and they work well in the garage but I would like 3500 -4000k temp for the basement.

I've purchased these. They are extremely bright, but are extremely fragile. For the price, I'd say it's well worth it as long as it's not in an area that might see anything come into contact with them. It wouldn't be impossible to hard wire, but you would have to cut the plugs off and splice the cable with the hard wire you're looking to use. Definitely not the cleanest way to do things and could have electrical code violation issues.

It does however put out a ton of light for around $10 each.

My experience is you won't have to worry about the Sam's club Honeywell ones hanging in your garage for years because they die within two years, at least in my garage. I think it must be because of the heat because I have gutted the Sam's Club Honeywell lights and retrofitted them in my office light that was 4' florescent and that light has been on nonstop for over two years. I am so tired of replacing the Honeywell lights is why I am considering these.

Maybe - I only use my others on occasion with seperate switch. If you need better, then you might look at more expensive than sams, not these. I didnt know they made fixtures this light - I recently replaced above/below cabinet lights with 8 pack kihung 2 foot fixtures, and they were much better built than these for around $47 bones. Im gonna look at those for garage...
