That seems right. One of the batteries is supposed to be the Flexvolt that will give 3ah @ 60V or 9ah @ 20V depending on the tool. And then the other is a 2ah 20V right?
Yeah looks like it. I'm not that familiar with the flexvolt family and it wasn't super clear from the product marking what voltage the capacity was for.

I would say this deal as the saw is better and the premium battery thats not jus more runtime but is high output 21700 cells and more powerful then the 6/2ah. Im honestly not a big fan of the 6/2ah batteries except for 20v tools but 9/3ah is a nice power upgrade over those especially for other flexvolt tools. Your recip will be more powerful with this battery

edit: if you need 1 more flexvolt battery you can pickup a 6/2ah in retail packaging on ebay 90 to 95 and still spend the same as the other kit or spend 430 by getting 1 9/3ah in retail packaging on ebay
I found the 996 with 2x 5Ah battery kit for $130 at Lowe's and returned the 575 saw kit. So now I'm at $400 for the 578, 796, 996, 9Ah flexvolt battery, 2Ah and (2) 5Ah batteries. I'll probably sell one of the 5Ah batteries and the 2Ah and buy a second 9Ah battery. Thanks for all the advice.

I would suggest to sell the 796 for a 791 to pair with the 996. You don't need two hammer drills and the 791 is more compact and lighter for daily use and the 996 when you need more power or hammer.

Also I would keep the 2ah because it is nice to have a small battery to pair with a small drill. Drills don't require a ton of power and battery size makes a huge difference when you want compact and light.

I would also suggest to sell the 5ah and pick up a 6ah flexvolt instead of another giant 9ah. You can sell the 5ah for about $60 and the cost of a new 6ah flexvolt on offerup should be about $80.

Still found it at a couple HDs in MD. Was going to swing by on our way back up north this week but both stores cancelled my order this morning so take that for what you will.

Someone in this thread said it would be low 200s on Black Friday. I guess he has a time machine.
