I bought the Sony A7III with the 28 to 70mm Lens for the wife and I saw the spec says "Filter Size: 55 mm (Front)" so is it safe to assume this isn't going to fit? I don't know a thing about photography so sorry if this is a simple question.

Well, that does seem to be something that somebody could try.

You seem to be full of crap on this though.
Just a few more characters and you'd never have to worry again, but you didn't ask nicely so you no get the goods:

Thanks OP for the link.

Don't use NDs all that much but helpful to have it in the bag on the off chance it is needed.

Have not used Sirui filters but for <$20 shipped, I'm willing to give it a try.

Correct, this filter will not fit the 28-70 "kit" lens that is bundled with the A7III. On the other hand, the Sony 24-70 GM is perfect for this application, if you have to get a lens to fit this filter to. LMAO

It will not work if it says 55 on the front. You have to buy the 55mm filter. You have to look at your lens to find the size of filter you need. The 28-70mm lens is the focal length (zoom) of you lens and not the lens physical size.
