I think these are meant for shooting outdoors. Shooting indoors is louder, and requires better protection. .

You can wear these over earplugs....always a good idea to die indoors regardless of your first choice.

I think all electronic earmuffs are about the same 23db protection.

Yeah i wear these over ear plugs. the amplification makes voices/other noises loud enough that doubling up still works and isn't completely disruptive. Normally $43, so not a fantastic deal but still a few bucks off.

This is one of the lower prices I have seen. The full price is about 60 but no one pays that. It has been 43 and eventually came down to this.

Super comfortable for 3-4 hours at the range. Work well with glasses.

Like others have said, for an indoor range, you need earplugs. These alone won't do it. Sound amplification will ensure you get to hear people (even with the earplugs).

Slim's always have a lower decibel rating. Which is ironic since they are meant for bench shooting.

I was about to jump on these then I saw the comments on shooting indoors and needing ear plugs. Is there a set one of you would recommend that wouldn't require earplugs for indoors?

If you're shooting indoors the recommendation is always double up. Even if you just use comfy foam plugs.

Unless you're at a .22 only range, just do it. Tinnitus sucks.
